That would be awkward Shep!

Damn. And I was thinking that Kaidan was the one unable to speak straight :P

After the, "Hey, how've you been?"

I wanted to shoot the writers for that dialogue.

Well you're good at it. Wish I could word my thoughts and opinions that well. But I'm like Shepard, best to shut it most of the time

This is why I fear for young girls who can't stand a little fight ever now again.

This! I fully believe that all your Alliance friends think you didn't die and somehow went over to Cerberus. After all, Liara is the only one of your old contacts/friends who knows that there was in fact a body. To everyone else, you were a MIA turned into a KIA when no body was recovered.

Even if they had belived in Shepard's resurrection some worry is actually completely justified since Shepard almost ended up with a control chip in her brain, at least if Miranda had gotten her way.

Of course Kaidan would some serious issues with Shepard just appearing 2+ years after her death. I wrote a fic around that topic and unfortunately I suck at writing so I couldn’t do it justice.  So as much as Horizon breaks our hearts it’s completely understandable from Kaidan’s pov.

This - at least, thats how I read Kaidan/Ash's reaction

"You ****/****, I thought you where dead for 2 years"

"But-"

"I went through emotional hell because you couldn't find a way to tell me you where alive!"

"But-"

"No, forget this" *runs off*

<_<

That's exactly why I think Kaidan would have to be hit over the head with the project Lazarus material before he could get by the "she's lying to me / being used by Cerberus".

"Oh hey look, she really was dead and not just working for Cerberus while leaving me in agony for 2+ years"

True story: I was always late to my freshman english class. The prof had a policy that if you handed work in late, it was automatically 50% off of the entire grade. There would be no excuses, even if you got a flat tire. I wrote a paper that argued against her lateness policy and got an A.

I think the majority of the Sheps on this thread stay faithful and just wonder if they have to depopulate the Citadel of female doctors.

One thing really gets me though...

People act like Kaidan backhanded their Shepards on Horizon or something. It's a gross overreaction.

Well, I have more than one Shep.  Before my 360 melted down I had about 8.  You have no idea how pissed off I was to lose all of them.

Because people are shallow and they tend to give quick, shallow opinions.

@up: biotic Kaidan FTW

Well, I was pissed cause he broke MY heart.  :crying: (Yes, I know, sad. I'm a big geek.)  It might be shallow, but *shrug* that's how I react to things.

But just like Alistair, I've forgiven him.

I think Kaidan staying calm and just walking away had a far bigger emotional impact on Shep than if he went EMO on her.

I wish there had been some scenes in game, maybe with Joker where we got to see more of what was going on in Shep's head after Horizon.   In game they just played it off as "well that sucked, back to work!"

I understand completely. The scene on Horizon was heartbreaking, especially since Shep had such lame responses. I even understand Shepard having a fling in an attempt to feel better (kind of... I'm not the 'meaningless sex' type)

But to hold on to that anger? To use that anger to want to absolutely destroy him in ME3 because of an argument?

I'd had to see their real-life relationships.

Yeah, that?  No.  Moving on is OK.  Crying is OK.   Vengeance?  WTF?  Really?  That's healthy how?
