One thing really gets me though...

People act like Kaidan backhanded their Shepards on Horizon or something. It's a gross overreaction.

Well, I was pissed cause he broke MY heart.  :crying: (Yes, I know, sad. I'm a big geek.)

But just like Alistair, I've forgiven him.

I understand completely. The scene on Horizon was heartbreaking, especially since Shep had such lame responses. I even understand Shepard having a fling in an attempt to feel better (kind of... I'm not the 'meaningless sex' type)

But to hold on to that anger? To use that anger to want to absolutely destroy him in ME3 because of an argument?

I'd had to see their real-life relationships.

Yeah, that?  No.  Moving on is OK.  Crying is OK.   Vengeance?  WTF?  Really?  That's healthy how?

There are actually people that want vengeance?  I think they are going to be disappointed by ME3.

Arghh I have half an hour on here! And I need to share this, please somebody with the time make this into a fic! *puppy eyes*

Ages ago the thread was discussing how Kaidan would react to the squadies in ME2, more recently people have been debatin Jack and motherhood not mixing...I was musing on the two and came up with this;

All in all, Kaidan's getting to know the new had gone well. There were a few figures he wasn't so keen to trust, understandably, though Shepard was surprised at how much he had taken to Jack. He seemed...amused by and completely curious about her at the same time and Shepard was sure he would be keen to share biotic stories.

After she had introduced him to everyone she took her leave and headed to her cabin. Kaidan had followed. When the elevator opened, Shepard immediately sat on the chair behind her desk and sighed.

"That went better than expected. I wasn't sure how Miranda was going to-"

"Shepard." Kaidan interupted, looking very serious.

"Hmm?"

"About Jack."

"What about her? Don't you- I mean I know she can be a little much to handle, but I'm working on-"

"No, no nothing like that, it's just..."

"Just what?" Shepard was getting impatient.

"Never, ever let that woman babysit our kids. Promise."

"I promise." Shepard said, not giving his request much thought.

"OK. Good. I'll be in the mess if you need anything. We still need to keep up appearances here."

"Of course. See you down there."

Kaidan left via the elevator, leaving Shepard to think about what he had made her promise. Ha! As if she would even think about letting Jacck babysit their kids when they come alo- oh...WAIT?!?

Please let me know what you think, and please please if somebody wants to steal and develop it do so!

Vengeance is more the norm in pop culture these days. I can recall all kinds of tv shows, movies, and music where the idea is to get even if someone hurts you - rather than finding a mature way to deal with it.

That makes my head hurt

Shep - I love this man more than life itself, he's upset because I reappeared after he thought I was dead for 2 years without a good explanation.  Phasers set to kill.

-Kasumi DLC still in the works, possible announcement at the GDC this week.
-Liara DLC still in the works, to be released some time after Redemption finishes.
-Firewalker (Hammerhead) DLC to be released by the end of the month.
-"FemShep" DLC still in the works, rumors are pointing to it being Thane-centric.
-Potential expansion pack still in development, with the intention to bridge ME2 and ME3.
-Weapon and Armor DLCs to be released sporadically between the "major" DLC packs listed above.

Here. Discuss

1. Kasumi- don't care- probably has a bare minimum of content like Zaeed
2. Liara- would be interesting I guess
3. Hammerhead- kind of looks like this in videos but with more explosions
4. Thane- I could care less if he gets cured or not
5. Potential expansion- until it's announced, I won't hold my breath
6. Weapons/armor- Don't care whatsoever

Honestly, I'm having a hard time trying to keep my interest in ME2.

Only thing that I consider could be fun is the Hammerhead...the rest...meh. Besides the Hammerhead nothing is really confirmed right? Nor do we know what that female DLC is going to be and if it's 'just' that.

I'll wait for Bioware to say something before passing judgement but the rumours don't make me enthusiastic or anything. Then again, my mind is really just focused on Kaidan and longing for more content than the cameo he got, but I'm afraid it's never gonna happen in DLC form.

The problem with Kaiden being in a DLC is that it would be perfunctory and cheap.  I'll hold out for the big payoff rather than something lame.

Perhaps in the expansion.

Problem is, you already have vengeance subplots galore.  Garrus is the most  obvious one.  Jack for another.

Enough. TIM asks if you're done with the past after Horizon.

I wonder if Shep's gonna pull the trigger on TIM herself or gift wrap him for Kaidan. Posted Image

*Quietly wonders who on Bioware she will have to bribe to get a netgun for Shepard in a DLC pack*

LOL I saw that earlier....why did the op have to post so much to justify their decision to cheat...if someone's got that much guilt with it then they shouldn't cheat.

I still think taking these relationships as anything than a hobbies is a little bit crazy don't you think>. However, I do agree that people are overreacting to the Horizon scene.
