I read the wall of text far enough to know that the poster was justifying a relationship with Thane but not much further.

It's a single player video game, why does someone need to justify their actions for making a choice the game gives you?

Guilt is a powerful thing...it can follow you almost anywhere even into a game. Of course they may be a little too emersed. One has to wonder when you have to justify yourself to an entire forum of fellow game players.

One thing that would be kind of cool:
Being able to start a relationship with one of the ME1 LIs if you didnt have one with them in ME1. I mean, how awesome would that be?

What's wrong with being a Tali fan?

My male Shep (who I call "Cade Shepard: Space Pimp") moved on after Liara blew him off on Illium.  He banged Kelly's brains out.  Then he hooked up with Miranda.  Then he dumped her (Cerberus ****) and wound up with Tali after the suicide mission.  She's a bit of a geek, and sweet.  Not unlike most of the gals in here.

Yeah, I kinda wondered if the reason they gave default shep in ME2 the Virmire survivor that was the opposite gender might be because they were going to open the ME LI's back up to being a full blown LI in ME3 available to those who didn't cheat in ME2 and to new players in ME3.
