It's not showing up yet, on your profile it says 2 chapters but when you go into the story it's still just one chapter.

You can cheat - replace the 1 in the URL with 2 and it brings the chapter up. I likes it, Becc! I always imagine my Shep talking to the picture too. Wonder what EDI makes of that... Posted Image

I'm going to stop bashing my head against the second chapter of my fanfic and try again tomorrow - it's just not working, darn it! Night folks, happy Kaidan to you all (LY, NH).

I liked the new chapter Becca. Qiute the melancholy tone, but it speaks of some raw emotion Shep is feeling.

So would you girls have problems if your husband/bf has some gorgeous woman on their desktop then? :)

*Listens intently with amusement*

My husband could put Morrigan up and I wouldn't care, that's the only game relationship he's ever had.  He usually has airplane pictures up on his desktop, occasionally our dogs.

Nah, I wouldn't have a problem as long as we're talking pixels.  He's lived with my series of desktops including Valen, Carth and Kaidan for ages, so turn about would be fair play.  Although I suppose that I can say this in all confidence knowing that it's highly unlikely since he's an amateur photographer and usually has his favorite photo of the moment as his desktop.  Right now it's a lovely shot of translucent jellyfish at the Monterey Acquarium.  Of course when I look at his desktop lately, I think of Blastette!

LOL, I wouldn't mind at all, but my husband is weird and doesn't feel comfortable looking at hot chicks around me.  I find his stash of men's magazines occasionally and read them, and then tell him once again that I totally don't mind them.  But he keeps hiding them.  Maybe that makes it more exciting for him???  Posted Image

The funny thing is, our Playboy subscription is in my wife's name.  She originally subscribed as a present to me when we were in college and it's been in her name ever since (like, 13 years).

We read it for the articles, of course.  ;)

Nice save dear, after the player comments you were almost in trouble :P

Hey, you never answered...  am I a player or what?

I am pretty sure being married for almost 10 years and not getting a paramour achievement with any other LIs during that time means no :D

Read it...loved it...and left you a review.

Wanted to add this here though

Your fic gave me food for thought.

Your portrayal of Garrus got me to thinking about his mini quest in ME with the doctor that was growing organs in people...seems like Garrus(in the game) would have been a little more anti-Cerberus since they were essentially experimenting on people as well.

Thanks hun, I agree, I think he should hate them but I figure he just looks past it all, his eye is always on the prize (sorry I couldn't resist Posted Image)

I always felt he was a ends justify the means kinda guy so he blanks out Cerb as he sees the colonist thing as the greater good *shrug*.

On that note now I've thoroughly depressed myself I heading off to bed, night folks, love ya all! (NH)

I don't know. I think it's more than 'the ends justifies the means' with Garrus. It's like he's on a personal mission to purge the galaxy of as much evil as he can.

But at the same time, he'll be okay with joining a terrorist group on a conquest of the ultimate evil.

He's quite the paradox.

I don't get him

Edit: Goodnight also :wizard:

Garrus wants to do the maximum amount of good - he's Chaotic Good - doesn't like laws, doesn't like regulations, doesn't like rules. He see's them as a block on what good can be done. I think he's a very direct thinker - "See some criminals, shoot some criminals, Universe slightly better place"

But he's also capable of a great deal of planning, as evidenced by his acts as ArchAngel. So, yeah, he might not like Cerberus, and certainly doesn't trust them, but so long as Shep is with them, he's happy to make the most of it and use their guns, tech, weapons, etc, because he's using it to make the Universe a better place...

Or thats how I see him.

When I was on the mission to find Jack and listened to the warden give his speech about why he was running the prison etc my first thought was that this is how Garrus would have turned out if he didn't have Shep to influence him.
