Eww... I really don't get the appeal of Anime myself. Always seems extremely creepy to say the least.sapphyreelf wrote...
If my boyfriend's mom was visiting, yeah, I'd shut down this thread. If any the rest of his family or my family visited, I could care less. They pretty much know we're gamers and all that.
At least the boyfriend has accepted that I have shirtless biotic Kaidan as my desktop. He tried to complain until I pointed out that he not only has all sorts of lady pics on his computer (and uses as desktops from time to time) but some of them are anime/video game characters too.
Have to pop off for an hour or 2 shortly.

Anime is not for everyone. I find some of it good, but I have friends who will watch just about anything Anime. (And some of it is creepy). The really odd stuff is best to watch with friends so you can MST3K it while you watch.

Anime I don't get, but I was more refering to Anime girls, so usually look VERY underage. Thats more what I meant by the creepy side of things.

LOL My best friend and I in high school used to love MSTing some of the horrid fanfics we found kicking around the internet, or reading other peoples' MSTs of them. Ah, good times. I'll never be able to hear the phrase "inner life" without thinking of the awful Legend of Zelda lemon by the name of "My Inner Life" that I read an MST of.

That reminds me of the bad lemon fanfic of the X-Men I found one time. I sent it to my best friend who got a big laugh over it too.

Uh huh, got a quite hilarious reaction from my friend, who had up to that point assumed Anderson and Udina was like... 30. "Uhm, no, Shepard is that age." "Eeeeeeeh!? I thought she was way younger!"
Really, I still enjoy some anime shows, One Piece in particular, but.. nah.
Speaking of that, said friend was quite amused when she found a anime called "Kaidan restaurant" a while ago.
