Pack warm clothes and wet weather gear is my advice
And ignore the knit's, those are just for the tourists, Scots don't actually wear them.
As for games... not sure. I didn't really like BioShock myself, the rest I played and enjoyed. You looking for RPGs mainly or you wanna try other genre's? Erm, Gaming genres.
As for games.... I prefer RPGs. I go in phases, preferring sci fi over fantasy, and back again. I don't really like call of duty type real-world style war games. At the moment all I have is my PC, but I'm looking at getting a console soon as well (recommendations?). I've heard Heavy Rain is amazing; DOA looks interesting but I'm discouraged at the talk of a bad ending there; KotOR looks legend, but I just haven't gotten around to getting it yet. What else?
I know this is over a day old, but what can I say? Still catching up. RL is so inconvenient sometimes.
If no one's mentioned it, you should definitely try Fallout 3. Ranks as one of my all-time faves, still booting it up more than a year after I got it. There is some combat, but if you can handle ME2, you won't have any problem with Fallout 3. It's a self-contained story, so you do not need to have played the other games to follow the story. Lots of exploration & character building, and the choices you make REALLY affect the story, probably because it doesn't continue past the one disc and 5 DLC (which I highly recommend getting at least 2 of them, Broken Steel and Point Lookout, as they really do expand the story). I hear the GotY edition has all five in it. Word of warning: it's really buggy and crashes a LOT, so save often.
Don't kick the shooters out the door either; most of them have great stories, even if they are more linear and you don't change the outcome. (Gears of War, esp)
OK, back to our regularly scheduled Kaidan.
(I'd post a picture, but I don't know how to do that on here. )
