We just mostly ignore the buggers and if you live in suburbia you don't see too much in the way of poisonous wildlife.
It was generally only Steve Irwin that used to chase the poor buggers around, well him and a few drunken idiots, lol
Yeah if you live in a known funnelweb area its generally a good idea to check your shoes too before you put them onAlice829 wrote...
Morning all.
Yeah, funnel webs are horrible. I was staying with a friend in Mosman (suburb of Sydney) and went to use the laundry room in her building. I'd just loaded up the washing machine when a giant funnel web jumped out of a hole in the wall above the washing machine and landed on the lid. Didn't faze my friend at all, but I've never screamed so loudly. Not fun retrieving my clothes later, poking suspiciously through them to make sure there weren't any guests.

Yeah, I have to admit whenever I saw him on the TV I was like "Dude, why are you pissing off those things? Leave'em be, they where getting along fine before you jumped all over them", heh. RIP

A quick question for any gay guys reading this thread, or anyone who simply finds the topic interesting. (Biotic Warlock's the only one I can think of, but anyone's free to answer!) I just saw a group here on the social site called "supporters of heterosexuality in ME". I found myself... somewhat taken aback by it. I mean, on the one hand, I'm gonna come right out and say that it makes me uncomfortable to read when guys swoon/drool over Kaidan. I'm sorry - it just does. I'm not a girl who finds guy-on-guy hot. On the other hand, I would also feel uncomfortable telling anyone else "you can't/shouldn't feel that way." And I know we joke when we say "no ******," but I have occasionally wondered if that might offend any readers of this thread. Hopefully it's taken in the spirit in which it is meant. :-)
I'm not trying to derail it or anything (though I probably am). Just wondering what other people think. If ye'd prefer not to talk about it, fair enough.

Ergh... groups like that make me unhappy - especially when they try and pretend their not homophobic - " Please, no bashing pro-gay people, spamming their threads, etc. Lets
talk civilly and bring a little class into the debate."
Bollocks (yeah, that'll be censored out but I had to say it), utter bollocks - its like saying "We don't hate black people, we just don't want the option of a black Shepard" <_<
I honestly don't mind if they include a gay option(s) in ME, so long as I'm not going to accidently click on it because its not clearly labelled (I'm sure the ladies here know how uncomfortable that is after the whole 'Jacob' thing)

Morning folks!
I feel sorry for any spiders that end up in our house, to be honest. I'm not a big fan of the nasty eight-legged things, but I wouldn't wish our kitties on them either. Any spider that pokes it's compound eyes into our house tends to get set upon and "played with" by four curious cats.
I do chase them up the garden if I catch them harrassing frogs though, that's just mean.
Re. page 1000 - Shepards might be better if it's going to be posted publically. I don't mind any of the regulars in this thread seeing a picture of me, but all the other forum users who could then find it make me a bit dubious

I personally can't see Kaidan as a gay romance option, but hey each to their own.
I'm not really into woman like that which is why none of my femsheps romanced Liara (regardless of what spin bioware want to put on it, in my eyes shes a female), but I don't have a problem if the option is there for someone that does.
As for groups like that I think they are a bit over the top - there is no need for them because of the mentality they attract
