Morning all!

Showers are good. I approve of showers.

And that anti-homosexuality thread spurred me to join the Fight for the Love group. So good on them, for bringing their silly position up, it just highlights how ridiculous it is. It's like demanding that FemShep be eliminated because some guys feel uncomfortable playing female characters. If you don't like that option, you never have to choose it.

I also approve of showers. Especially if they involve Kaidan in any way. Posted Image

Yeah, I don't even want to touch the whole anti-gay thing. Like you said, you don't have to choose the option if you don't want to. People are just dumb.

My dog and cat. It's an older photo but they still look more or less the same.

I've played exactly 2 sessions of D&D and 1 Call of Cthullu. That was enough for me. I'm too ADD to handle the boredom. Posted Image

This thread has been moving like lightning! o.O

A quick question for any gay guys reading this thread, or anyone who simply finds the topic interesting. (Biotic Warlock's the only one I can think of, but anyone's free to answer!) I just saw a group here on the social site called "supporters of heterosexuality in ME". I found myself... somewhat taken aback by it. I mean, on the one hand, I'm gonna come right out and say that it makes me uncomfortable to read when guys swoon/drool over Kaidan. I'm sorry - it just does. I'm not a girl who finds guy-on-guy hot. On the other hand, I would also feel uncomfortable telling anyone else "you can't/shouldn't feel that way." And I know we joke when we say "no ******," but I have occasionally wondered if that might offend any readers of this thread. Hopefully it's taken in the spirit in which it is meant. :-)

I'm not trying to derail it or anything (though I probably am). Just wondering what other people think. If ye'd prefer not to talk about it, fair enough.

I've wondered about the no ****** thing myself, honestly.  And I would totally support giving people the choice of same-sex romance in any game.  I think, though, that so far every same-sex love interest in Bioware games so far has also been a heterosexual love interest.  This may never happen but I think it would be nice if Bioware wrote a LI just for a same-sex romance instead of taking a heterosexual romance and just changing a few words here and there.

Depends on the GM if the games are boring. I'm currently in a Call of Cthulhu game, a 3.5 D&D game based in a custom setting, a 3.5 D&D/Iron Heroes game set in the Dragon Age setting, a 4.0 D&D game set in a custom setting, and I am running a 3.5 D&D game based on my own custom setting. We have a Spycraft game,  a 3.5 Monster Eberron campaign, and a Star Wars KotoR game on hiatus currently.

We don't play all of these every week. We play Friday nights and most of Saturday, and we play two games a week - and rotate them every other week. The Call of Cthulhu game is a filler game while we try to reorganize my game due to some players bowing out due to RL commitments.

I haven't seen that thread yet but I would support it.  A family member of mine is gay so I've been exposed to it for most of my life.

It might be a stereo type but I think guys tend to have a harder time than women with the concept.   All my husband's friends love to joke about girl on girl but you mention 2 men to them and they cover their ears and go "na na na I can't hear you"

My husband and our friends finally talked me in PnP RPing a few years ago. I've played Deadlands, Rifts, D&D, Serenity/Firefly, and we're eagerly awaiting the DA:O book.

It's not boring if you stay in character. We have a friend who plays with us and we always role characters who hate each other. The banter gets to be hysterically funny after awhile.

I would give D&D a try, but they just don't seem to do it over here; it doesn't seem like anyone over in this country plays it.

I love both names and that breed of dog.   No big dogs for me since I live in an apartment. Posted Image
I would probably like D&D more with a better DM, but honestly my husbands group doesn't play enough for him to be really good with the rules. I get so bored. I'm not very good at it either. Posted Image
Oh, and he uses the Planescape setting which I don't like.

Normally a comic shop or hobby store is the best way to try and locate a group if you were interested in trying to find one.

I do always enjoy listening to the guys play. It can get pretty hilarious. The boring part is waiting while the rules get checked, practically non stop. Also, we had 2 groups of characters in separate areas so we had to wait while the other group took a turn.  Also, grell suck.

Comic shop? We don't have those here. Nor hobby stores, I think - used to have a GamesWorkshop in the town but that shut down years ago.

*smirks* Well, I don't know about the rest of England, but the nearby towns are pretty run down. Fortunately, I live outside of them, though village life...meh. I don't like the locals.

The thing with the Anti groups are just stupid, and I'm all for same sex relationships, since a I know a few gays myself. One of the gays I know is named Philip he is a sweet heart, and worked with my mother at a teen health clinic here in Houston. That is when I learned what Homosexuals were, since I was quite young at the time I only about knew about Heterosexuals. I told my mother we should invite him, and his wife over for dinner one night, and she said that he actually  has a husband , and then she told me about what Homosexuals were.

I support all Gay right movements, and If they want too have a option then let them have it I say screw Fox News, and the Anti Gay crowd. Saying their not Homophobic is funny as hell when there in a Anti Group. The no minorities groups is just really, so sad that its not even funny. I live in area of Humble that is mostly Minorities of another race than I, and it makes me sick when people create groups like that.

That's too bad.  When you mention going on walks I always imagine you get to walk through a nice village or something.  I probably watch too much BBC. Posted Image  I have to drive to get to nice scenery around here.

Freaking A. I love Talisman. Posted Image Although I now forbid my husband from using the dragon expansion. Too many dragons!
