Welcome! I recognize your username, you've made some cool YouTube videos for KOTOR and Mass Effect, right? LOL, between Isaantia's videos and yours, I'm amazed I haven't gotten caught at work watching various video game romances.Don't worry about catching up, just jump right in!
Thanks!

Do you get absurdly annoyed when someone repeatedly points out that you're doing something that is not what I guess would be called, a "classic" woman's activity?
Like gaming? Sheesh. There has to be more of us doing this now-adays. But I still get a lot of strange looks when I go to gamestop here. I went to the midnight release party for ME2, and I was the only female there besides a really loud (and large) reheaded woman who kept talking to her male entourage about World of Warcraft.

I actually like Liara. She was my Shep's BFF. And my husband chooses her every time.
MyGod, I just played ME1 again to make me a renegade Shepard (had a harddrive misshap a few months back, so all my old saves were lost), and it was so hard saying all the nasty dialog to Liara. She's just so... ridiculously nice. I think that's a big reason why I'm confused when people complain about Liara's personality change in ME2. I love seeing this more worldly Liara. And hearing her say her mum's line makes me laugh every single time. "Have you faced an asari commando unit before? Few humans have."
So... I'm caught up from my last post, I suppose. I'm really going to try to keep up from here on in. Also: thread relevant: I'm thinking of altering my siggy to show some Kaidan love. Can any of you provide me a link to one that's been shared (so I don't feel like I've been stealing)? I'd be ever-so grateful. Then all I'd need is to figure out the HTML...

I cant seem to ever get even close to 100% pure renegade playthrough in either ME1 or ME2.

Well, unfortunately, Kaidanites have to break her heart. We have to Virmire Ashley, and break Liara's heart. It's not easy for a Shepard to be in love with that biotic. :innocent:

Couldnt bring myself to cheat on her in ME2 so I redid ME1 without a romance, and had to tell Liara off so I could get the paramour achievement.
Although I felt bad whenever I did leave kaiden on Virmire. He was like a good friend, and always seemed to be rational and stay cool unlike Ashley.

I made it. I had exactly 1 paragon point, from giving Tali the Geth data. I felt like my Shep owed it to her.
Speaking of Tali, I felt like crap being mean to her, too. I was mean to Joker, everybody. Ashley actually responds to it pretty well, and Kaidan has a lot of really cool dialog. But yeah, Liara and Tali are just so damn nice, regardless of how badly you treat them.
Liara: "Shepard. Have you come to check up on me?"
Evil femShep: "No. I just want to talk."
I felt so bad.
Being completely evil in ME2 is proving to be much, much harder. And I'm not such a fan of watching her evolve into a zombie, either. I'm saving the med bay upgrade for the end of the game, since I've heard that it isn't permanent.

Although I had to tell Tali off in ME2 to stay loyal to Liara.
And I thought the medbay was permanent, at least thats what is says in its description.

I wouldn't quite say that. It's more like that I just pick what feels right.
