Whenever I play without forcing myself to try a new path, I end up being just slightly more renegade than paragon.
You mean like making the desicions you would try to in reality?
When I do that Im still usually quite high in paragon.
I wouldn't quite say that. It's more like that I just pick what feels right.

You know... I guess it depends on the Shepard.
FemSheps tend to be more renegade for me.
DudeSheps end up being very paragon,

Like that poor Salarian that gets shot up in Dantius towers by the mechs, I saw a renegade video on youtube where Shepard just leaves him there to die and he asks shepard to help his friends, and all Shepard says is "Im too busy".
So cruel.

Yeah, it does say that, but I read here on the boards that it's not true. People were complaining about that since 50,000 plat is so expensive.
I'm all for being sparkly-help-people-good. I just like to give renegade a go, at least once, to see what I've missed. I've heard that TIM's expression when you say "yes" to keeping the Collector base is a riot. The whole Morrinth/Samara thing is going to be really hard for me, though. I really like Samara.
And my evil femShep is cheating with Jacob.

Good luck with the ME2 renegade, I know that I could definitely never do ME2 pure renagade let alone ME1.
The bad stuff you can do in there seems 10 times worse then anything you could have done in ME1.

There are some things that I could never do and keep it on my save.
Like executing Shiala.

Oh, no way am I going to pull off 100% on ME2. It's impossible. I can't even get a 100% paragon rating in that game. And yes, you're right. A lot of it is so much worse.

Oh, man. You actually don't gain any paragon points for letting her live, so I couldn't bring myself to kill her, either. Now, why does that seem so much worse than killing all of Zu's hope? She guilt tripped me about that when I saw her on Illium, BTW.

MyGod, I just played ME1 again to make me a renegade Shepard (had a harddrive misshap a few months back, so all my old saves were lost), and it was so hard saying all the nasty dialog to Liara. She's just so... ridiculously nice. I think that's a big reason why I'm confused when people complain about Liara's personality change in ME2. I love seeing this more worldly Liara. And hearing her say her mum's line makes me laugh every single time. "Have you faced an asari commando unit before? Few humans have."
I have to ask, a few people on this forum have said similar things, their 360 hard drives losing their save files or becoming corrupt.
Just want to know did this happen on its own?
I am beginning to get very worried about something happening to my ME saves and if that were to happen...
I dont even want to think about it.

Ack, I just did that.I had Garrus in my party, and he said something like, "We can't just leave him like this. It isn't right." I felt like crap. Also, letting that crazed hunter kill that woman at the beginning of Jacob's mission made me feel really bad, too.

I could cry from seeing that poor guy just weeze and cry out for help, and then Shepard being mean to him on top of that...
Your definitely a lot stronger then me.
And just curious, why cant you do a pure paragon run? I cant think of anything that seems bad as a paragon.

Heh, with me, it was just this silly accident. I went out of town to my sister-in-law's house over Thanksgiving, and my brother-in-law and my husband were both playing a lot of 'Modern Warfare' at the time. Rather than watch them play for 4 days, I brought my harddrive and a copy of 'Dragon Age'. I was going to stick my harddrive on their spare xbox, but as I was carrying it into the house, it slid off of my 'Dragon Age' case and landed really hard on the sidewalk. I almost cried. I lost everything. This is me:

So you can imagine what was on said harddrive. It was my dumb mistake. I'm now much more careful with my stuff, and I leave my harddrive safely at home when we visit my in-laws.

I don't know. Helping Liara is considered renegade, I guess, but if you can't trust her, who can you trust? Sometimes after a cut scene on the Normandy, I'll just gain Renegade points along with my Paragon ones.
Don't misunderstand, I always help him. I'm just putting my Renegade Shep through to see what happens this one time. Seeing every outcome helps with the game's replay value for me. This game just doesn't have it the way ME1 does. I blame the Kaidan romance for allowing me to replay ME1 over and over without getting bored.

Ouch, that sounds real painful.
If that happened to me Id be the next "worldofwarcraft kids account deleted" on youtube.
And I had forgotten about the helping Liara renegade thing. In that case I could never be pure paragon either.
If ME1 had the same combat style Id play it over and over and over for Liara as well.
And how did you get that picture of your gamertag like that?

I keep thinking that if I weren't so unsatisfied with the way things went with Kaidan in ME2, I wouldn't be so impatient for ME3. So... the fact that it was handled so badly was a good thing, I guess?
Also...while I'm off topic, can I just say, how uncomfortable I found it when I saw that Miranda's voice actress was Miranda? BioWare did the same with Jennifer Hale and KotOR's Bastila, but, well, we never saw Bastila's lacy bra, now did we? It's just... odd I guess. Since she's a character that the player can sleep with, if they chose.
For the amount of people that are overly obsessed with Miranda's char... it just seems really, really creepy to me now.
What do you guys think? How incredibly strange would it be if you looked up Raphael Sbarge for the very first time, and he looked exactly like Kaidan?
I kept thinking that Miranda can't strut around calling herself physically perfect with the teeth she has, but when I saw Yvonne Strahovski, I was all, "oops."
