Well, I'm off for a bit to have dinner and see Alice in Wonderland. *waves* See you later!
hmmm....tell me how that goes. I haven't made up my mind to go or not. And I don't know who recommended that Plumb song the other day but is totally be downloaded now.
So since we're mostly ladies in here *nods to fanboys* I said mostly, I have a question. Do you get absurdly annoyed when someone repeatedly points out that you're doing something that is not what I guess would be called, a "classic" woman's activity?
I dragged one of my friends to a motor cycle safety course 'cause she really wanted to go and I knew she'd waffle forever worry about everyone else's wants and demands on her time if I didn't. (Plus, motorcycles are fun)
And the instructor references the fact that there's girls in the class like over and over again. "There's like 40 percent women motorcyclists now. We have shorter bikes for you. Look everyone! Girls!"
Ugh...I wanted to face palm or renegade interrupt or something.

I enjoyed the absurdities of AiW; TIm Burton is frabjous! And I'm always up for a movie with Johnny Depp. Has a very talented cast including the VO work (Alan Rickman and Stephen Fry

) And let's just say that the confrontation scene near the end was remniscent of DA:O in a certain way. So yeah -- It was fun to see in the theatre in 3D. But I will also say that liked njoyed Avatar better.
Your motorcycle story reminded me of the time we were visiting my husband's parents and I borrowed by BiL's Susuki 500 - a monster sized bike (at least for me; my feet barely touched the ground) and rode around town. Lots of stares and I couldn't believe how many disbelieving comments I got from guys in particular when I'd be at stoplights. Too bad for them. The bike was fun!
