Secondly, about the Conrad thing, I got that comment about my Renegadey actions from him, but somehow I cycled through the questions and without ending the conversation, he gave me a different line in that same place that did match up correctly with my Paragon response to him in ME1. Has this happened to anyone else, or am I misremembering?

Bonjour o' men and women of the good thread Alenko - I'm from the Ashley Williams support thread, and since some of your members where kind enough to voice their support for us, I figured I'd wave the pom-poms of support here too.
Bonjour! I think Kaiden would appreciate the pom poms. They're pretty...adventurous.
... I think I need an adult!
Morning, everyone! First of all, thank you, Ash lovers, for your Kaidan support! We need to stick together! Ash and Kaidan get so much undeserved hate from some people.

Bah, I wish I could get my hands on a photo editor so I could change my avatar to one of my Shep.
Would be more than willing to help with that, if you need it

But Jacob talks out of both sides of his mouth; on one hand, he says he doesn't like Cerberus, doesn't trust them, blah blah, but he takes their money, and unlike Shep, actually chose to work for them. Hypocrite. I avoided him as much as possible.
Kaidan told you way back in ME1 the night before Ilos that if he didn't think you were doing the right thing, he wouldn't be here, and he made good on it on Horizon. It was awful, but you had to respect that he stuck to his principles, even if he didn't know the whole story. One more reason I really missed him in ME2, where it felt like almost everyone had their own agenda and wanted something from you. He'd BETTER have a big role in ME3.....

I always get this creepy Psycho image whenever Conrad speaks of his wife. I don't think she exists except in his head.

I do love the Asari bartender's reaction when Conrad talks about how supportive his wife has been and how she even payed for his ticket off of Earth

I actually found an article where Casey Hudson mentions Conrad. It is odd b/c he says what choices you made in ME1 have a meaningful affect on what is going on in ME2. I guess that is true unless they don't, like in the exact example he uses![]()
"Anytime we have a plot or a character or situation in Mass Effect 2, we think about what you did, potentially, in the first game that might affect said plot or character or situation in the second. We can look at each variable and dynamically change what happens in the moment. It ranges from small things like, by way of example, Conrad Verner was a fan of Commander Shepard's that you met in the first game, and it's like you meet this guy in an alley and you can be nice to him or you can be a jerk to him, and at the time you might have been thinking of it as just a trite role-playing convention, good-guy bad-guy, and that's that.Jump forward two years. Now you're playing Mass Effect 2, and oh my god, who's this, it's Conrad Verner! And based on what you've done, you realize that while the moment in the first game maybe seemed throwaway, now Conrad's back and involved in another plot in a game you're playing two years later...and what you did two years ago is meaningfully affecting what's happening. That's a small example.'

Now see, I could don the Ashley mask say 'I don't think so, friend' and shoot you a few times....but I'm not like that

I got that response, but I still don't think she exists outside of his head. It may just be that I don't think that any woman could stand staying married to that guy! LOL (And yes I know, he says that she paid for his ticket offworld. Hopefully she is working on the divorce.. but wouldn't it be funny to see her with him in the next game?)

I think she must be crazier then he is.... I'd be scared to meet her honestly!

I would like to see Kaidan tell him to back away from his woman if Conrad shows up in ME3
