Thanks for the support. First time I played I was  a maleshep and loved his back story right away...didn't find out till later I could romance him as a Femshep.

I think people seem to think that anyone who talks about their past is a whiner.

My kids always roll their eyes when I change my desktop.  Currently is an Alistair screenshot, but it rotates between Carth, Kaidan, & Capt Jack  from Torchwood.

The name wasn't from ME though.  I actually met her in hospital when we were both having a baby (my 1st, her 3rd) nearly 18 years ago.

Haha, my son's name is slightly unusual, but old fashioned and traditional, not trendy.  When he was born, there was a popular character on a soap opera with the same name.  It drove me CRAZY when I would tell people my kid's name and they'd say "Oh, like the soap???" <_<  Luckily, the character got written off, and hopefully in the years to come no one will remember him.

All My Children.  I'll just say it was Hayley's husband, and yes, I watched it, but I was an Erica Kane/Kendall Hart fan, I couldn't care less about the character with my kid's name.

Ah, I never watched All My Children. My mom raised me on Guiding Light though. I stopped watching all soaps after Guiding Light went off the air (courtesy of the writers systematically destroying that soap over the last two years of its existence).

Yeah, I know how that is...my younger brother and I were complete freaks growing up, we loved comic books and watched soap operas, so we were very used to retcons and bad writing and characters being ruined -- in both comics and soaps. 

I guess it prepared me for being a video game fan, in some ways...

LOL, yeah, Stanley Woo nearly had a heartattack when he saw how large the Tali thread was.

Incidentally, we were in third place by a large margin behind the Miranda thread, as far as number of posts.  So in terms of just post numbers, it was something like Tali>Miranda>Kaidan>Garrus>Liara (although to be fair, Liara had two large threads).  I think that was surprising to both the Kaidan fans and the Kaidan haters.
