Morning all (its 2.30am here & insomnia strikes again, lol)



Have to say virmire was a surprise to me, but the choice of who to save was never a hardship, I just didn't like Ashley (sorry to her supporters). The only way Ashley would have been saved in any of my playthroughs was if the choice had been between her & Liara (sorry to the Liara supporters). In my mind, Ashley was always right on the edge of rudeness (insubordination?) to my Shep. Maybe it wasn't meant to be that way but I took quite a few of her comments as pretty rude to, not only her commanding officer, but someone of Shepards status in the alliance. Plus she had the hots for Kaidan, lol, so she had to be exterminated. I remember her telling Kaidan to be careful or take care on Virmire & almost as an afterthought (well to me anyway) she added the oh you too commander - if pods had been invented then, I would have been calling for one, lol).



Hope this is taken as its meant with tongue firmly in cheek. I have no problems with seeing characters I disliked again I would just prefer not to be forced to have them in my squad, and I do actually hope that we all get what (or who) we want, regardless of our likes/dislikes and choices. I really do hope that the Kaidan, Ashley, & Liara supporters get their LI back in a significant role in ME3.



DAO - liked the alistair romance but felt a bit cheated by the fact that once you had slept with him, the dialogue was essentially over. Also hated the dungeon scene where if Alistair is your LI, the only conversation you can get from him is the ramble about being a templar isn't so bad compared to this. Would have liked at least a comment from Alistair if you gave the guard the cmon to get the key from him. Loved the banter between party members & would have loved to see this in the ME universe.



Conrad - I was nice to him because I play paragon but I really just find him an annoyance who I could do without. I felt sorry for his wife, but then again she was stupid enough to marry him in the first place. Wouldn't surprise me if he pops up again in ME3, unfortunately.



Shep not having a shoulder - I would have liked at least a line or 2 of dialogue about how my shep was coping or Kaidan, with chakwas, or even Garrus or Tali. I really didn't want to talk to Kelly about it - she doesn't know my Shep or Kaidan. When Liara told my shep that she had found her body & given it to Cerberus I was actually yelling at her "well why the hell don't you tell Kaidan that". Would have been nice to have that as a dialogue option.

Heh, well, I actually liked Conrad - especially the 4th wall breaking bit where he says about 'poking around crates for extra credits' - made me smile. And I suppose you're right about ME2 - not really anywhere to hang the emotional hat, as it were.

I should have explained that thanks to my leet Paint skills, the portrait is now an interactive object, so you can select it to your heart's content. We'll pretend the [Fondle picture frame] is like the "return" option. I'm going back between options 4 and 5 myself.

At least he speaks to you like his girlfriend *grumble* and depending on whether or not you harden him *giggles* (I can't believe Bioware actually called the process that!) you get to keep him later.

Bloody Anomen (BG2) acts like nothing has happened, yes we love each other, I've decided I'm not going to take a vow of chastity, at which point my eyebrow raised, I wanted an option along the lines of,

'So what?  Is that your way of saying you want to sleep with me?  Ooooooh aren't I lucky?'

Then after the sex ................... nothing!

And Carth?!  He doesn't even kiss you!

And weedkiller can be traced. Run away husbands with papermache armour and an attitude resolve themselves Unless, of course, Shep comes to the rescue

 Off topic a bit, but did anyone else notice the Asari from Feros was really friendly with your FemShep after you completed her mission?  I just wondered if she had the same reaction to a male Shepard.  It seems like everyone was hitting on my FemShep except for the one person she was actually interested in  All she got from him was an email she couldn't even respond to

The danger with the pods is that you'll end up with a Conrad-Reaper

And wazzock is indeed a great work - **** is a good'un too, but apparently he means something totally different to the older folks, heh.

Edit: And apparently Bioware know that one - sneaky Canadians, learning our curse words!

BTW, has anyone figured out how to delete an uploaded pic in the KAAS photo section? I fixed the arms on the dialogue wheel thingy so that they're the same length, because I'm uptight like that, but I can't figure out how to replace what I already uploaded with the new versio ...
