I liked Wynne right up until she started hitting on my Alistair in front of me during RtO. That creeped me out since she was always spoke to him like he was a son before that. And then the whole "get away from him you dirty hag... he's MINE" started....
What the eff?! Wynne hits on Alistair in RtO?!!!

She totally does. Tells him how he could be a young soldier waking up in her bedroll and all.

I applied to Swarthmore too! Decided to go to Brown over Swarthmore, as I'd have had to have taken archaeology courses at UPenn, and I could do both archaeology and classics at Brown. I had the most fun at my interview with the Swarthmore alumnus though - a Quaker army officer!
Also, I love banana bread and enjoy walnuts.
Then banana nut bread with walnuts it shall be

Yes, be fairly warned!

I still have to buy it... and I might get hit, but if Alistair isn't the LI, what is wrong with he and Wynn fnding love? I think it would be awesome for NPC's to fall in love during the game as well.

Bah, I don't think it was quite THAT bad, Wynne flirting I mean. The "birds & bees" convo was just as bad. She didn't for a second believe Alistair was that dumb, she was yanking his chain.

It was totally my chain to yank, and I think in context of the fact that other conversations she has with him that she likens him as her son is why I found the overt sexual flirtations (regardless if she thought there would be serious intent there or not) distrubing.

Because they don't. If it were Leliana and I were going after Zevran, that would be OK. But Wynne tells him she hopes her son would turn out like him.

I wouldn't consider that flirting. That was teasing to me. It's okay to tease someone who's probably a good 40 years younger than you, but to hit on them?!

Nothing wrong with NPCs finding love. But regardless if you romance Alistair, there are ambient conversations that sprnig up between Alistair and Wynne where she talks to him like he's the son she had to give up while she lived at the tower.

In that respect, yes, I agree. But I think they were intending RtO to occur early in your game, not, say, after Landsmeet, when you could have already heard the "son convo."

I do agree there that it w as likely intended to be an earlier conversation. I did for my cannon DAO game pull a save before the Landsmeet to do RtO as it would fit better in the flow. (And it would take me all of two hours to re-complete the game from that save... which now that I think of it... I need to recomplete before playing Awakening.)

So, if it is assumed to be something that occurs early after recruiting Wynne, couldn't it concievably not be gross because she hasn't quite adopted him as her son?
Kinda like watching Episodes 1-3 of Star Wars and then seeing Leia kiss Luke in Episode V?

It could conceivably not be gross, yet, but I still personally find it distubring. I do romance Alistair right away with most of my characters though, so there could be the whole illogical and irrational thing there.
