I'm thinking about leaving Kaidan on Vimmer, since I need a reason for why my Shepard goes renegade in ME2. I just hope that I can do this too her. I'm going to be romancing him, and make this a reason she goes bad. He was the reason she stayed afloat.

Oh, if you want to be really twisted, you can add in this whole anger over being brought back to life since now she has to keep living without him.

True that would be really twisted.  Thanks for that :crying: will go in to the background

No problem! I seem to be good at coming up with ways of torturing my main characters. Glad I can help someone else torture theirs.... Posted Image (Even if it's really mean and makes me want to cry Posted Image)

Ha HA! Catching up on this thread after a weekend away...when you get to the end, it's like coming up out of the water from a deep dive. The hen party was great fun, but I missed the Kaidan madness!

@Einea: You were asking about a picture with Kaidan and curly hair...was it this one?

And pretty please could I have Jho's sekrit Kaidan picture that was doing the rounds while I was away? Posted Image

Nope.. not that one. I still need to finish looking through for it (assuming it was really there ); I gave up after about 300 pages of constantly scrolling. Thanks though :)

To be honest, in Dragon Age, I struggled to choose the "happy" ending for my Cousland with Alistair. Her selfishness won out over my desire to write an even angstier piece about her trying to live without him at the end.

Heck I wouldn't mind you helping,. It just that I couldn't find another reason as too why she goes bad. Yeah this will make me want to cry as well killing off Kadian for the first time dammit. I hope that I can do it. :crying:

Good luck pulling it off. I still can't manage to avoid romancing Kaidan, let alone leave him behind. That certainly would make a great case for going renegade in ME2, though.

Just drop me a line in the thread or in a PM if you need any other ideas. I'll see what I can come up with.

I just made a pure Renegade Shep from ME1 to play through the renegade choices in ME2. It was fun, and her justification from the start is that she wants human domination through the galaxy. The only alien members of her crew to survive were Garrus and Grunt. She didn't purposefully set out to get them killed, but they were acceptable losses. She would have been upset with the loss of Grunt because he's her pet Krogan. She hatched him from his tank and everything. Posted Image

I don't think I could ever kill Kaidan off with my Shep - even if it would make for a moving dramatic tale. There's no one that can come close to replacing him, and she would have no reason to try and find a way to survive the suicide mission.

I just replayed ME1 this weekend and I couldn't do it either.

All my Wardens are selfish. I have yet to not take that deal.  Neither Alistair nor Zevran recover.

I'll have to give equal time to my paragon Shep in fic, I think.  Why the two women behaved so differently.

I started my cannon Shep again in NG+ and Ashley is going to die again. I hate doing it - but as Jho pointed out - Kai Kai doesn't want to die!! Posted Image

My Dalish elf will not take that deal. But she's mean and evil and nasty. She's going to force Alistair to marry Anora and then sacrifice some stupid human general to the dragon. (Bye bye Logahin!) Then she's going to skip town with riches and Zev.

My Dalish will be doing that, too.  As will my Aeducan, depending on if she can forgive her backstabbing brother.

Anyway, KAIDAN!

Ok, since the BF has not come back on my story ideas, going to go write something Shenko related during the rest of my lunch break.

I agree (and I believe many others on the thread do too).

The way I work with it is that Shep has planned all these possible things to say to Kaidan when she may actually find him, and then BAM! there he is and she is at a loss for words. So, she is grasping for just about anything. It's a nice reversal of roles since he was normally the one stammering for the right words.

But I do wish there had been an impassioned plea that we could have made. Especially after he finally says that he loved us.

If ever a scene needed a flashy interrupt icon...

"I love you too, now, still!"  (anything!)

But no, nothing.:crying:

Paragon Interrupt: "I love you too, now, still!"
Renegade Interrupt: *pulls Kaidan into a passionate kiss*

I'd totally Renegade interrupt that with my Paragon Shep. Posted Image

Yay free wi-fi from the dr's office!

I would opt for that renegade interrupt, too - how would garrus/tali/other present squad members react? haha

Yes, that scene was definitely in need of an interupt option.:(
