My three year old want to know if the shark will be ok.  LOL:lol:

Hahaha, that picture is crazy!

Just stopped by to mention that Stanley Woo locked a thread a few hours ago for questionable content, so it looks like possibly the character appreciation threads will live to see another day at least. ;)

My son has loved Batman since he was three, but lately he's been into the Clone Wars animated series. He had already seen Episodes 4 to 6, but he recently had been asking to see Episodes 1 - 3. I thought he could handle it, but after every episode of Clone Wars now, he asks me about random characters, and if they survived Order 66.

Him: "What about Plo Koon?"

Me: checks Wookieepedia..."I'm sorry, he died"

Him: "Aalya Secura?"

Me: "Dead..."

Him: "Kit Fisto? Ki-Adi-Mundi? Adi Gallia?"

Me: "Umm, maybe we should do something else"

Him: "Go to Wookieepedia!!!"

sigh.

You refer, of course, to the cheesy Adam West Batman movie.  Which happens to be our 3-yr-old's favorite movie.

One of these days I'll get him watching The Dark Knight.  You know, when I'm ready to pay for years of therapy.  :D

Yeah, luckily our kids haven't quite come to appreciate Order 66 and its impact on the galaxy.

My suggestion: Make him a BIG fan of Obi-Wan.  I mean, other than being responsible for the biggest galactic fark-up of all time (that is, leaving Stumpy Skywalker to die rather than finishing him off) he really is the most awesome Jedi ever.  And in the latest episode of The Clone Wars, he was totally trying to get in the Mandalorian Dutchess' pants.  :D

Also, Shaak-Ti survives Order 66.  But then Vader's apprentice kills her in The Force Unleashed, so that may not help much.

We started our son with Batman: The Animated Series.  It really is the best, and while it's somewhat dark for a little kid, it's not too scary.  I mock those who think that Heath Ledger was the best Joker, because obviously they know nothing of Mark Hamill's voice work.

I really, really fear finding out what happens to Ahsoka Tano.  I want to believe she just goes away to a nice farming planet and gives up the life of a Jedi before Episode Three...Posted Image

Heath Ledger was the best Joker on film.  Agreed with you about Mark Hamill being frakin' awesome as the Joker.  If you haven't already, play through Arkham Asylum.  They apparently just gave him a script outline and turned him loose.  It was beautiful.

I <3 Mark Hamil as the Joker's voice. Boyfriend is supposed to play Arkham Asylum on the TV when he finally finishes up ME2. He may get there this week.
