Thanks, I would too.  He gives me the creeps, so badly that I might just have Kaidan beat him up for me.

Saw the video. I think it's more of a grasping at straws. I find it very hard to believe that Jacob loves her. You know though I'm glad that they have such varying degrees of romance in this game. From Garrus' adorably awkwardness to Thane acknowleding he's scared to die now that things have been made right with his son and has a woman who seems to care for him to finally Jacob who seem to just want "tap dat ass."

And then there's Kaidan...

Anyway it is interesting that they made Jacob(the only other human LI for Femshep) the way they did. On the surface it would seem as though he was supposed to be like Kaidan...human...ex-Alliance...doesn't really like Cerberus all that much...seems to lean more Paragon than Miranda and then you get to the romantic part and it's like ugh...so not like Kaidan...not even close.

I was running around in my Paragon playthrough with Mordin and Miranda for some achievements. I got the Varren after doing the Pyjack mini quest and decided to try my luck at betting on him. A few matches later, he lost, and he wasn't around any more. I shrugged and headed to collect the rest of my quests. I go into the medlab area, and I see my Varren looking all happy, laying on a bed. Plus, he had an interactable!

I click on him, and Miranda is like "You seriously came to check on the dog in the hospital?". It cracked me up.

Miranda wouldn't understand. Her dad got her a puppy, but she didn't want it because it was from her dad. She's been bitter ever since.

So, trying to keep on topic here, I just started my Renegade Adept pro-human femShep in ME2. I convinced Kaidan that humanity needs to lead the way, and got him to tell me to sacrifice the council. So, with that being said, how many people should I be willing to let die on the suicide mission?

And, I ask this because Kaidan's approval means alot to her. In ME1, she only talked to Wrex and Kaidan with any kind of respect. And Wrex was more like her pet Krogan than a person.

God I know what you mean!  <_< I didn't like being called a prize, and it felt like a sex call with Jacob. It also felt like I was the rebound chick .

My heart breaks a little each time I see romance stuff with Garrus, my poor friend, feel so sorry for him. Such a great character...awww. Luckily my Shepard never romanced him.



So, what are the odds of getting extra content for Kaidan in ME2? Still waiting for another mail!

I think the odds may be very low but if romance dlc happens it will be a delightful surprise.

Can't seem to get enough of Sbarge voice, checking old Carth vids and whatnot.
So I got this Sbarge vid and it's still so strange...hearing 'Kaidan' and seeing Sbarge...and then imagining Kaidan saying those words, it's just funny and makes me chuckle.

Yeah, the thing with Miranda sounds like he doesn't think all that highly of Shep. Maybe they wanted to make it look like Miranda was Jacob's Rahna...but I think that Kaidan forgot all about Rahna(if he did have any feelings left over for her) once he met Shep. I guess Jacob is still hung up on her. Just more proof in my opinion that Kaidan was in love with the woman and Jacob just wanted to tag the 'Legend' Commander Shepard.

I guess some people could look at it as two people hung up on other LI's that took comfort in one another. The old saying..."If you can't be with the one you love...love the one you're with." Not my Shep though...she's hung up on Kaidan and intends to get him back.

Even if we don't get a Kaidan DlC it would be nice to get another email in one of the other DLC's that's for sure. Maybe one where he admits he wants to see you and he wants to get together to talk things over. It wouldn't even have to interfere with wherever they are going in ME3 since you don't actually have to meet. Just something to let Femshep know that Kaidan wants to work it out.

I was just watching one of the romantic conversations with Jacob on youtube and I really like one thing about it. Jacob asks Shepard whether she has something at heart, and Shepard tells him that it’s been only few weeks for her but two years for everyone, and people changed in that time, and she can’t blame them. It’s like she’s talking about the situation with Kaidan and that it is really hard for her to deal with it. Jacob answers that he can understand those people have changed, because their lost her.
Why couldn’t we have that kind of conversation with him without romancing him?? It would be so nice to have someone care for what you’re going through. I would like Jacob a lot more if he could just ask me that with no strings attached.

Yeah, it is kind of weird to watch. At least he has a full smile...not the half smirk Kaidan always gives...I think seeing Kaidan give a full smile would be nice to see in ME3...maybe even see him laugh once.
