Hm? Does that mean you did well? :D

It means: I did pretty well at everything except the ******* spins, which was unbelievably frustrating for me.  Meanwhile, everybody else who was at the rink at the same time as me is ridiculously good, doing spins I can't even touch at this point and double and triple jumps.  So I'm incredibly frustrated and mortified at the end of the practice session.  One of the people at the arena comes up to me and basically explains that this time is for the national-level skaters and next time please to come at a different time.  That on top of everything else was just too much, and I end up needing to spend a few minutes in the bathroom composing myself while waiting for the skate shop to open.

Then I walk into the skate shop and (third time's the charm, apparently) get helped by somebody who knows what he's doing with figure skates.  He takes one look at my current skates and basically says, "You're trying to do waltz jumps and spins in those?!"  So he measures me for a new set of skates and tells me what I already know: my feet are unusually large for a woman, and unusually wide relative to their length.  So he didn't have any skates in my size in stock, but was able to order a pair in my size and (miracle of miracles) they were in stock in a warehouse up in Hollywood.  So they should be in tomorrow, and I'll have to go back to have them fitted to my foot.  Then another day or two to have them give the sole a good waterproofing treatment and I will get to see what it's like to skate with the proper equipment for my ability level.

So basically: Very bad skating to incredibly excited about the new skates.

True! I suppose the same is true of men, though less likely to actually have to deal with it.

I guess the bottom line is there is the option of kids but not the desire fo it:)

LOL, true - I dunno, maybe one day - but, like, in a relationship and all that. Maybe. Not something I've really thought about all that much cus I've always been more focused on getting to point a) Having a gf to begin with, heh.

I think femShep gets custom made more often than Sheploo gets remade.

This raises a good point...

Okay, ladies (especially Mrs Templar) time to put up or shut up:

Given the choice between Ewan MacGregor and Kaidan Alenko, whom do you pick???

Ewan has really exposed himself in some movies...

Bet hes much easier then Kaiden.

Yes, they both have impressive light sabers ;)  Hmm...I think we should have the option to choose both :P

How is it that "Young Adam" isn't your favorite movie of all time?

*chuckles* Madam Becca's shotguns, hmm?

And yes... I can't remember what default FemShep looks like, but default MaleShep just looks stupidly good compared to the custom ones....*idly tries to recreate his face in ME2 between posts*

It's true, I started man-shep playthrough last week and spent forever trying to make a good looking shep, but couldn't do it. i think the default is the best one. i really wanted to take the default face and make minor changes to it - hair, eyes, etc so it would be a little bit original, but it wouldn't let me. =P

Yeah, apparently the default MaleShep is actually based off of some Italian underwear model - hence why we can't even edit that face :( I just wanted to put a scar on his cheek is all.

True, but he looks SO MUCH better than anything I can do with the custom character editor, its crazy!

Ok... I've made a Shep... he doesn't look much like me, but the customization level in ME2 SUCKS compared to Dragon Age. And he doesn't have my stylish glasses ^_^

Edit: In fact, he looks sort of like my Uncle... which isn't good.

When he looks like Commander Shepard, yeah, he's alright.

And then there's this picture, where he looks like the unholy mutant offspring of Willem Dafoe.

And yet so far away from here. Tsk.

Anywho, 1 slap to the chops later - I've custom pictures for page 1000 from 6 people and myself; plenty of time to get the code to me or one of the other PC players if your on xbox, or to printscreen your shep and send me a linky :)

Ahahaha nice. Yeah, I'm not a fan of this picture at all - it almost doesn't look like the same person. Weird how hair can make that much of a difference.
