 Well, we are just critter people.  Currently we have two dogs, two cats and a hamster.  Although, the cats act more like dogs than felines.  Not too long ago we had 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 guinea pigs and 2 turtles.  Sadly, we got most of our animals at the same time so the last year was pretty rough.

When I looked back there were already 2 pages to go through here. We're a talkative bunch it seems. Especially when new pictures show up.

Sounds like my house, a lot of little fuzz balls running around.

We have 1 dog, 1 cat which used to be 4 cats, 1 went back his original owner when she was settled and able to care for him again, 1 contracted feline HIV and went to live with my cousin to protect the others but still have a good home, and 1 just got to old, she was 15 and passed on. We also have 3 ferrets and had a bunny which went to my other cousins 2 year old son, he has downs and fell in love with it and is afraid of all other animals, the bunny is very friendly and is a big lap pet so we thought it was perfect for him.

Our cat isnt very catlike most of the time either, though I can't even place his odd behavior, hes just very out there... He does play fetch like a puppy though!

Oooh, pet talk. 1 cat, Sadie. 1 ferret, Peanut. 2 parakeets, Dotty and Chippy. 1 hamster, Nosy. And an aquarium of fish. Though I am convinced that Sadie is my faithful hound instead of being a cat at all, because she rarely leaves my side except to care for her basic needs.

I should be disappointed in you for another puppy attack.... but they're so cuuuuute. It's a good thing all I have is a hampster and my fish to distract my shep.... if there were puppies the Reapers would win while the Normandy sat idle waiting for Shep to stop playing with the pups. :innocent:

Yea, lol, for sure the same here. All of our animals have been shelter rescues or strays I found on the street or people just not wanting them. I see a critter that looks lost on the street and I go after right away to either find its owner that lost it or help find it a good new owner, or just let em stay with me.

My sister is the same way. She and my mom live next door to each other out in the country, and between the two of them they currently have 12 dogs and 5 cats they are caring for and finding homes for. They live in my hometown in kentucky, and sadly a lot of people there just dump their unwanted animals. My sister is apart of a group that is working with the vet trying to get a new no-kill shelter up and running.
