I haven't written anything for a while (or for this fandom), but when I do write, I usually do my 1st draft on paper. I can't  think focus with my laptop on.

I finally decided to go back to playing DA: O some more and now I know I'm one of the 'lucky' ones with a game practically unplayable due to patch 1.03. So I have to decide whether to go back to a previous patch or just set the game aside until it's fixed. Ugh...



Guess I don't have to worry about buying Awakenings now. Can't run the game without 1.03... and with 1.03 my game crashes the minute I go into battle.

I remember what happens in the missing scenes, just not the exact dialog   Well, when I finally finish it and post it hopefully I will have filled all of the missing holes.  If not I am afraid it might be a bit confusing

Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening hits in 4 hours. Don't think I'll be rushing off the the video store until tomorrow, tho.
I'm so terrified that it's going to suck. I just hope that it ties in well with the rest of the game.
Not looking forward to 15 hours+ of gameplay without Alistair in my party.

It is bad enough that my LI won't carry over, but I certainly hope they don't just assume a canon ending to DA:O.  I am going to be very disappointed if they always assume Alistair is king even if he isn't in all of my play throughs.

Alistair is my tank. I'm a rogue, so he gets all the good armor (dragon skin) and weapons (starfang). I don't have the strength to use any of it.



I'd go back and keep him a warden if I thought it would make any difference. It won't.

There'd better be some recognition that I'm going to be queen, damnit.

Agreed.  I tried to not take Oghren into the deep roads because he dies too frequently, but it wouldn't let me.

Agreed.  I tried to not take Oghren into the deep roads because he dies too frequently, but it wouldn't let me.

Yeah I hate having to take Oghren to the deep roads.  The only time he comes out of camp in my games is for the deep roads &  to see Felsi at the inn.  I pretty much stick to the same party for most of it - rogue warden, Alistair, Morrigan & either Wynne or Zev.

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to quit lurking for a second to let you all know that since I'm a Kaidan fan (I can't even bring myself to load up one of my own site's saves in a non-Kaidan romance run), I've got about 450 screenshots of Kaidan already in the masseffectsaves.com Screenshot Gallery and there will be lots more as I finish ME2 again and get back to screenshotting my way through ME1.  There's like 6700 screenshots of both games so far and I'm not even close to being done.  Sooo... enjoy!

Also, I know Falken, who made the Kaidan-lover Femshep trailer you guys were talking about a few pages back, he is awesome and so is Count Choculitis, who's Femshep the trailer was based around.
