*snickers abit* Yeah... to be honest, my city elf did go with Alistar. And accepted Morrigans offer. But not sure if I wanna continue with that one in Awakening - mainly cus it feels really, really wierd playing a female, heh.

Sorry, the City Elf origin is just the easiest one to play thoroughly pissed off at all humans.

As far as DA:O I have played through to the end every class except for Dwarf commoner.  To me that origins story just didn't fit with a female dwarf, so I didn't get into the role that much.  

I think my favorite is my elven mage who became an arcane warrior.  She can create a storm of fire and then stand right next to her favorite tank and hack baddies with her sword.    In the end she and Al decided to go through with the ritual and spend their days traveling together.

I'm a complete mod addict, difficulty mods, utility mods like bash lock / auto loot, character morph mods, itemization mods etc... I also would spend hours and hours with the toolset designing characters.

Most likley comes from my days of playing Warcraft / Warhammer, there were mods that were necessary for sanity if you played those games especially as a healer.

I've seen several people comment that the dwarf commoner didn't work for them, but it's still my absolute favorite.  (Inspired by the angry Origins Poster, no less.)  Working on a story about her, in fact.  DA dwarves ftw, seriously.  Love them to pieces.

Oh, I always had my necessary mods when I played WoW. I had some that were essential for me as a Hunter, as a Healer, and as a Tank. (I've played as most roles at end game). Just never got into the mod scene for DAO.

As for DA, I can't stop playing Human Noble Female. From the beginning I really was hoping for Human Commoner, because I'm boring and prefer playing humans in games, but HNF was it for me, because I got my dog from the beginning and Tim Curry. Then, you know, Alistair, the somewhat happy ending, etc... Now I see that Awakening has a party member who is a Howe, and I'll definitely be playing my human noble first again. The Disney Princess in my avatar will have to wait her turn.

I was royally p'od when my poor first mage got her heart broken by Alistair, I had put him on the throne and then he wouldn’t marry me just because I was a mage.  

Did the ritual every time except for when I was getting the achievement unlocks.

I liked both dwarf origins - the only origin I wasn't keen on was the Dalish one, and abit of the City Elf one. But I like the Dwarf city so the Dwarf origins appeal to me - sort of an engineering marvel

As for reading fics that went somewhere you didn't want to see, I went back to see if that Garrus one was updated, and it was. Now it's been turned into Garrus fantasizing about femshep, so I'll just have to enjoy the first pages where it's strictly a strong friendship. I love Garrus as a buddy, and the romance angle is adorable... but I prefer leaving him as a good friend there at your side no matter what. And Kaidan there to warm your bed .
