Boards are acting up...I was only a member of 1 group a few minutes ago...not that I ever post in any of the other groups...just KAAS. And I posted and it never would return to the thread. Brought up another browser and went to the thread and my post was there but the other browser still said it hadn't posted. I think the space monkey's are messing with the forum. Gotta go...hubby's off today and wants the computer.

I think it might have already been discussed, but has anyone managed to find the dialogue in which you can (supposedly) talk to Kaiden about being an L2 biotic (and Shep being an L3)? The wiki says it's there, but I haven't had any luck finding it.

You have to be not romancing him. I got it as a dudeShep.

No we haven't found that stuuuuuuupid biotic conversation grrrrrrrr! and been trying for days although trying is on hold as I'm back at work and my addiction to this thread has resulted in much work being sat undone!

I always leave Kaidan with the nuke, I just love Shep hurling him over her shoulder

Even if I could do mods, which I can't, I still wouldn't use any Kaidan mod that places him somewhere he shouldn't be. It wouldn't add anything to the game for me because my gut will tell me it's out of character and out of story for him to be there in the end. As much as I want him to be there, I already know I can only accept it if Bioware places him there...fully voiced and integrated into the story.

It takes alot of work to mod in a character. I've been helping (ie, proofreading) a mod for a friend who is adding Ser Gilmore as a party member for DA:O. From what I can tell, there is a lot of coding to get everything to work proprely for it, and DA:O had a toolset to help with modding.

I think it would actually bug me more tbh, I thnk after ME3 we'll forgive Bioware's lack of Kaidan, don't get me wrong I'll still fly through ME2 at the speed of light but it's part of the story, a necessary part I just don't think we've got the perspective to see it as such yet.  That and the obvious missing Kaidan clouds everything anyway!

Does he talk about it early on in a dudeShep conversation? If so, I'll start a male adept and hurry to that dialogue option. Just so I can actually see it for a change.

I think it happens in place of the 'cutting corners' convo. You talk to him and he's got a migraine.

Yeah.  Where's the jealous Kaidan lines we see with Liara and Sha'ira when we need them?  Heck, even with Harkin you could interpret Kaidan's line that "Harkin's an ass," to indicate some level of jealousy.  It would have been an awesome touch if Kaidan reacted to Conrad's line about "the beautiful Commander Shepard" if you have a romance active with him.
