Good morning, everybody!

Morning Joisan! How goes?

Good, good.  Just woke up an hour ago, had a shower and some breakfast, and now I'm chilling in the gutter with you all.  Got to save up some gutterness for this weekend when I'm going to be away from home.  Hopefully I'll get to check in at least once a day or else I shudder to think how much reading I'll have when I get back on Tuesday!

Counting down the hours 'til the skate shop opens; my beauties should be in for sure today. :wizard:

Good morning everyone!

I'd love to see Kaidan have a loyalty mission. Something to shake off old ghosts perhaps? Or new ghosts like "what did Cerberus really  do to revive Shepard?

Re Kaidan vs. Liara:  while I agree that Kaidan probably wouldn't have given Shep's body to Cerberus, I think that once the deed was done he'd want to have known about it.

Here's a fun thing to consider. Let's say that Mass
Effect 3 keeps the same talent system for squad mates. What would Kaidan's talents be?

http://masseffect.wi...om/wiki/classes
if you need the name of existing talents.

And an example of how the talents are structured:
http://masseffect.wi...i/Legion#Powers

Personally, I'd go with
Throw
Overload
Alliance Lieutenant (you can fill the description)
Loyalty power? Who knows. Maybe a full forced biotic kick? =p

Ooh, ooh, loyalty power stasis!

And a Kaidan loyalty mission?  Now that I'd like to see.  I wonder what it would involve?  Maybe dealing with Rahna in some way shape or form?  Or giving Cerberus hell.  Even better

Well, Kaidan would have to have throw for his biotic power, since that's what got rid of Vyrnuus after all.  And a powered up Neural Shock would be good for his tech ability.  I never used stasis either though, so I don't know what his loyalty power should be.  He needs something new... *thinks*  Maybe some sort of team barrier/shielding ability?  Since he's all about keeping his people alive.

And dear lord, I'd consider lending out my first born for an awesome Kaidan mission.  If you can get him talking to you at all in ME3 (or DLC) though, I doubt you'd need to re-earn his loyalty.  So, rather than dealing with Rahna or some other personal angst, I'd like it to be something that forces some Alliance/Council cooperation.  Or takes down timmy-boy.   Messing with Cerberus is always good.

Yep.  Glad to see we're thinking along the same lines re: Cerberus.  And Alliance/Council cooperation could make for some interesting missions.  I like that idea.

Yes messing with Cerberus  is always good, and I wouldn't mind a Kaidan Loyalty mission were we take down Cerberus together.

Oooh, so you get some Shepard backstoyr angst and Kaidan character development at the same time!  And mess with Cerberus!  Bestest idea ever.

@BloodyTemplar *snorts*  Good think I already finished my coffee, or it would've ended up on they keyboard with that one.

Posted ImagePosted Image  Yeah -- I think it would be ever so much fun!  Think of all the potential twists and turns, not to mention that the final resolution could be to convince Kaidan that you really were very much the same person as before even if you do have a few new/improved body parts! Not to mention really being able find ways to p*ss off TIM!

Change of topic slightly:  I've been enjoying your fic.  Am looking forward to reading the lastest tonight when I get home.  (Yeah--technicially I'm supposed  to be working right now!

Hey guys! DAO: Awakening is turning out to be much more addictive (and involved) than I'd feared. It had a bumpy start, but I did get a kiss from "my dear husband" Alistair (albeit on the cheek).

Strange having everyone in the game call me "Commander" now. Oh, except for the massively large amount of NPCs that keep calling me "sir". Posted Image An oversight that didn't really happen in the original game.

I'm really, really pumped about the DA2 insert included, which has a 02.01.2011 release date. I had no idea the turn around would be that quick!

Anyhow, I'm off again until I've played it completely through, but I just thought I'd let you all know that it doesn't in fact suck as I'd feared it would. I still miss Alistair, but I'm growing to love Anders and his kitty silliness. Posted Image Too bad he's not fling material...

Sir or Ser? And I think the army use Sir instead of Madam.

Martial arts, or at least the system I trained in, also uses Sir regardless of the gender of the instructor.

Mrs Templar had the same complaint, but I bet you're right - I bet it's "Ser," which they use in the books when referring to chick wardens.

Indeedie? And yeah, Ser is probably more meant to be like Old Pre-Norman invasion English - when "Man" meant person, and women where refered to as "Wife-man", and blokes as "Weapon-man", heh. Or it could just be a shortcut by Bioware ;)

Well, the Knight in Redcliffe is called Ser Perth.  BTW, he will call you "My Lady" so I don't think it is too much to ask for other NPCs to do the same :D
