Shep told Thane to talk with the crew and make friends bc he was lonely. So after that, I went up to the Captain's quarters...



I thought Kaidan's picture was down, but it wasn't. Scared me for a sec

LOL, the game needs a relationship meter, like Dragon Age.  I once tried to friend zone Alistair for an entire game, it was hellish.  Every time I said something nice to him, it would push the relationship from friendly to care.  

I feel like talking to the male characters in ME2 is like that but worse, and the female characters won't be my BFF. 

Except for Kelly, but I think she wants a different kind of sleepover party than I do...

I agree, that I need that meter  would be nice. I just don't want to romance anyone, Since Bioware wants to force us too at least put the meter in for the people that don't want a romance. <_<

Something just occurred to me - I'm sorry if this has been covered before. I haven't made it thru all 175 pages of the last thread. People are worrying that Jacob is meant to fill the Kaidan role in ME2, but really, I think he wasn't written for women at all, he was written for guys playing as FemSheps. What would they want for their ultimate bada** femshep? Not some calm sexy mature guy who talks about thoughts and feelings; cause that's just GAY, man. Nah, give her someone who has lots of cool lines, like in porno films, hey!, who doesn't bore her with all that "romance" crap, and gives her the ultimate booty call. Helps if he looks like a really stacked Kanye too.



I can only imagine the writing sessions: "No!! Make it cheesier!!! Sleazier!!! None of that "feelings" talk!!", and the hoots and guffaws from the women in the room. I'll bet there were some snickers in the recording booths too. Either that, or Bioware has taken leave of their senses, since I haven't seen a single post by an actual woman who's into Jacob.



Pure speculation on my part, but it makes me hate Jacob a little less, and see the funny in his awful dialogue. Personally, I'm waiting for the real man to get back in the building...

When it comes to Jacob only one word My Shep only has one thing to say.



I honestly can't stand the character. He literally has nothing to say to you unless he wants to jump your bones.
