Ok, I believe I've come up with a solution. Look, I feel that some of us have put off people with our OT talk, so I've made a thread specifically for OT talk. We'll take it all over there so as not to cause further upset. We can take the OT over there and leave the thread for Kaidan and ME talk only. My apologies for letting things get this far as I know I'm a prime causer of the OT talk that has created the rift. I'll probably still post here, but it'll be all on topic. The thread is over here out in the OT forum

I think that thread is going to go too fast for me (already has a number of posts in it, so I just walked away lol). What about the chatroom... I checked yesterday and it was still up (although no one was there lol).

Edit: Forgot to mention, if that OT thread works out, I think it's a great idea. Just offering another potential solution!

I forgot about it...

I don't think OT is a massive problem.  It's just that there have been longer stretches recently.  But I think this is mostly due to the overall slowness of the board.

I wasn't offended by anything crimson or fort said. Things had gone off the rails a bit, and sometimes you do need someone to say, OK, I think we're going in the wrong direction here (or, you've had enough to drink, whatever). I don't feel like they were being the OT police at all, just reminding people of why we all tuned in in the first place and steering us back there.

That said, I haven't really minded hearing a little bit about the people on this thread. It's nice to know that as a female gamer who isn't a baby, I'm not some bizarre anomaly, as the mass media would have us all believe. And I especially liked knowing that I wasn't the only person in the universe who had a decided affection for a character that as far as I could tell on the IGN boards, everyone seemed to hate and took great glee in killing on Virmire. I really enjoy hearing everyone's thoughts about him, and yes, others in the ME universe, whether I agree with them or not. If I only wanted to hear myself, I wouldn't bother tuning in.

Do I wish lady winde could post her beautiful drawings every day? Yes, of course, but the woman has to eat, sleep and do RL sometime. Do I wish Jho had more time to spoil us with more Photoshops? Yes, but I'm very grateful for what we have.

I enjoy reading about all of you, and hearing your stuff. NH. <3

Well, I still respectfully disagree that it was a true problem.  I don't ,however, want to spend my time causing people to be upset or to be upset by them.  Life is far too short.  When this thread is eventually locked I will not attempt to start it again.  I will leave it to someone else's capable hands.  I still adore Kaidan as a character in the ME universe and Bioware games in general.  When I have something strictly on topic I will consider posting it.  Until then, have fun.
