It would have been SO easy! And so much better than just asking TIM about Kaidan/Ash/Liara. They could even have just recycled a screen cap of the bit in the beginning of ME2 where you tell them to leave and they pause before reluctantly running off, last time you saw them before dying and everything. Of course pre-Ilos would be best. Ohhhh or the lockers almost kiss...

It's funny how Joker has made a habit of interrupting the LIs.

No, wait... it isn't :(

Joker needs his own LI for ME3 to keep him busy and out of Kaidan and Shep's way.

Maybe EDI will help keep Joker preoccupied in ME3 so we can have interrupt-free Kaidan time.

I really hope that BW makes it so your companions in ME3 talk among themselves like they do in DA.   That's one of the things that makes DA so repayable, I would take different party members with me just to hear all the different conversations.

Playing through DA atm to get a clean save for Awakenings and I can’t get enough of the party banter.

Yes. Yes.
Did anyone else get the impression from talking to Dr. Chakwas (Fort's fic aside) in ME2 that she was somewhat fond of him? In a... non... motherly way?

For a Kaidan loyalty mission I liked the idea of something Cerberus related. To really prove to him that Shepard is not working for them

That was one of my favorite parts of DAO too. If I had someone in the room, I'd be like, "Shhhh... Alistair and Morrigan are talking..." =]

They had a little bit of it in ME1 with the "hmmm" and "huh" clickables. Also, bringing Ash and Kaidan along on Chellick's mods mission was a must. That banter was funny.

Haha i would lov having Kaidan run around in towel on battlefield!

Well, Kaidans loyalty mission could be Shep imo. A dinner or so, walk along the beach of Virmire :x

I see Rhana as something of the past that he already comes to terms with and moved on (he makes some comment about being 32 and that he had  a lot of time to come to terms with his past or so).

I have to agree with that bit... I've never really understood why she shows up in fan-fic so often, and is automatically a big deal.  I mean, I'm almost thirty, and while obviously none of my high school relationships were quite so fraught or life defining as Kaidan's, they're still the past, and not worth quite that much angst.  She'd make life a bit awkward, but more than that?  *shrugs*

*seconds towel-Kaidan as battlefield mod*can't run ME on her PC, but is sure it'd show up on YouTube*

Wonder how Kaidan would react if Shepard told him.

"Alenko, I'm afraid I've been rather bad. Permission to spank me."

ETA: So, ladies...Rank in order of preference: Kaidan, Alistair, Carth! It's almost impossible to choose between the first two for me, but...

1.) Kaidan
2.) Alistair
3.) Carth

Ack, asking me to rank them is like asking me to pick one kitten out of a room full of kittens. It cannot be done (because I'm convinced I can have them all). Well, techincally it can be, but I always feel sadder because I can't take them all with me.

Gun to the head, if I had to choose:
1) Kaidan
2) Alistair
3) Carth

But, they're all super close, that it should be a threeway tie. And I didn't choose Kaidan because this is his thread. There's something that I can't quite describe about his character that is attractive to me.

Fixed! Shepard will be participating included in the fun, of course.

I'm sure it was most likely mentioned here over the last day at some point but I haven't gone back through the 30'ish pages I missed. On AFF there are the first few chapters to a sequel to "That Blurred Line" posted.

Kaidan and Alistair are sooo different, it's really hard to choose between the two of them. But I have to pick Kaidan every time, because I love his quiet serious nature with the wry sense of humour underneath, and he's physically pretty much perfectly my type!

Anybody else find the term Loyalty Mission for Kaidan hilarious? Can't help it, just laughing at it. *snickers*

Oooh! Is there an advance list that I can put my name on for when it's finished? Posted Image

Ooooh, I would love an early loyalty mission for Kaidan! With a nice reward at the end of course. And maybe his alternate outfit can be a tux. Or just a towel, that's fine with me too. I guess something to do with Rahna would be the obvious thing, right? Anyone else have any ideas?

Also...speaking of towels...how do you think biotics manage to keep their amp socket thing clear of water when they're showering? Does Kaidan have a little plug he has to push into the back of his head every time he wants to take a shower, go swimming, etc? Haha! It's not easy being biotic.

As far as a loyalty mission goes, I like the idea that we get to find out a few more details from when he was in BAaT - either through something to do with Rahna, or with finding out what happened to Conatix. I find it very unlikely that they just rolled over and died when Vyrrnus got killed. Wouldn't be surprised to find out they're mixed up with Cerberus somehow...

On a related biotic question - d'you think that biotics keep the amps in all the time, or they're part of gearing up? It's a little unclear in the Codex, but the way I understood it the implant is what turns the weak abilities that a potential biotic has naturally into something that's useful, and then the amp enhances specific abilities.

Fanfic moment: All sorts of things could happen to someone when you can plug devices into their nervous system...

Shepard: Alenko, I need you on the ground, STAT!
Kaidan: But...but Shepard, I'm not even dressed yet!
Shepard: Think of the mission, we can't afford to lose any time! Just use your Barrier, you'll be fine.
Kaidan: ...What about my equipment?
Shepard: Looks to me like there's nothing wrong with your equipment, Lieutenant...

Easy access to his pistol and his omni-tool, what's not to like?

I agree that he's over the Rahna thing, so I hope that if we do get a loyalty mission, they go with something else. Someone had mentioned finding out more about Cerberus/Project Lazarus and I thought that was a great idea. Although it would be really nice to get to revisit Virmire in some way, just the two of us. That would be a really nice and touching way to bring the Virmire casualty back into the game in some way and give us the chance to pay proper respect to Ash/Kaidan before heading off for the final battle and getting pay back for having to make that choice.
