The people who call Kaidan whiney are the people who want all the characters to follow there character, and not have a bone to speak of. I liked the fact that Kaidan never blindly followed me in to battle ect.
And they're jealous 'cause Kaidan's so much more awesome than their characters.

His flipping out over the "evilest dictator evar" thing made me cry. Thus, it was good. A game's goodness is directly proportional to the number of tears I shed. The more it makes me cry, the better a game it is.
I have an audio montage of the Carth/FemRevan romance. It's set to the "Across the Stars" piece from Attack of the Clones. Three or four minutes of gorgeous Carth-voice... Siiiiiigh...
His little cameo in K2 made me bawl. "Simply tell her... that Carth Onasi is waiting for her." *clutches chest and Kleenex* Oh gawd!
I HATED KotOR2 for that! My Revan would've NEVER left him like that. She would've stayed with him to help the galaxy recover for what she did to it. And married him, leaving the Jedi order if they complained.

Yep. "Well, if I didn't think you were doing the right thing, I wouldn't be here."
And he stuck to his guns on Horizon. Which I give him kudos for, as much as it broke Mia's heart.

But but but… the NPCs are supposed to see that little floating camera behind my head and leave their judgment at the doorstep!

HERE HERE! At least my Revan came back. She came back to her flyboy, despite what TOR would tell you, that "Oh, Revan and the Exile went off and vanished 'cause we don't want to come up with a happy ending for them." HMPH. I'll write my own happily ever after, thanks very much.

All this Carth talk is giving me a very, very strong craving for some KOTOR. Keep it up. I haven't played in literal months! (Shameful, I know.)
LOL, I haven't played in years. I think I'd rather replay ME1.
I wore out ME1 within the first two months of owning it. At last count, I had... *counts* Eight Shepards. I think. A lot of them were going at once, and in the ages I've owned the game, I've only finished three out of those eight games. Technically, I finished five, because two of the three were secondary playthroughs with the same Sheps.
Of the eight, I have one male Shep, but his voice acting is so bad I can't bring myself to finish. XD
I had 9, including the one that was one level away from 60. Then our Halo Edition 360's video card melted down. Gillian Shepard and her sisters are in the RROD digital graveyard. All I was able to get in the three months after it died were Avery, Moira, and Meghan.

And even if they DID take off, why the hell would Revan and Exile leave Carth and Atton behind? Dunno bout y'all, but those two were just as indispensible to my characters as Kaidan was to Shepard.

Yeap, I liked that about Horizon, and the fact that he said that line... I like characters that wouldn't follow you, so blindy in to battle just because your the hero and all. I like characters who call you out on stuff ect.Joisan wrote...

Don't forget to hunt down the Carth romance mod, which makes the big romantic moment more 'close'.
Done and done! XD I've had it for quite a while. Veeeeery nice. The other mod I love is the one that gives Carth a proper uniform for K2.

My husband bought kotor a long time ago but I've never played it and it got pushed to the back of our collection. But after this I'm gonna have to give ME/ME2 a break and see what it's all about.
Ah KotOR. Despite the dated graphics and gameplay it is still my Favorite Game Of All Time. It just seemed to hit the right balance for me. (Course I've always been a Star Wars geek, so that helps!)

I need to get the Knights of the old republic now. It sounds like a good game, I'm going to get it on the computer though lol. So I can make Screen shots, and try out the Carth mod heee.

Yeah, I heard there were serious backwards compatible problems with it on the 360. I would highly recommend to anyone getting it now to go PC only.
edit: And if you're playing it, I'll tell you what I told my sister: As soon as you are able, go to Tatooine just to get HK-47. Best. Sidekick. Ever.

It's not too bad, the audio just craps out if you have to reload from a death.

That's good to hear! I heard from some that it was unplayable for them.
