Oh wow, I just had a horrible thought...if Bioware thought that Oghren was a fan favorite worthy of being the only companion to make it into Awakening as a companion, who from ME2 would they put into an expansion?



It would probably have to be Jacob, because Zaeed is a DLC character. shudder.

I quite like Oghren, I find him funny while Jacob is just bland. I think Oghren is ok for a no romance expansion, it would have been quite frustraiting for me to have some of th LIs and no romancing options.

Riiight... so, I decided that since I'm going to be stuck sitting on a bus for roughly four hours tomorrow, not to mention how much time I'll be spending waiting for my class to get to various things we are supposed to visit tomorrow, I may as well start on some rough draft of the Horizon comic I've wanted to do...

So, question being, how would you have wanted Shepard to react to the whole thing? Just want to get some opinons... Can't remember what people have said in the past on the subject, so sorry for that.

The real justification for Oghren is that a lot of players got him late in the game and didn't use him as much as the others.

The direct comparison to ME would be Legion, who everybody has to get late in the game.

Slightly off-topic (but sort of replying to earlier discussions), I'm browsing the groups here and am very sad to see how much hate there is for dear Alistair. Look, I can understand if he's not someone's cup of tea (or piece of cheese, or whatever), but... Then again, I *am* biased. I do love him so.

Haha, my first thought is physically dragging Kaidan back to the Normandy.  But kissing and tears should be involved, definitely.  I can't believe they couldn't spare the resources to make the Horizon reunion better.  Just off the top of my head, here's some lines I would have liked to be able to say:

Kaidan, thank god you're okay, I thought you were taken by the Collectors! 
I was dead, really dead, but Cerberus retrieved my body, and spent billions of credits bringing me back to life. 
When I woke up, finding you was my first priority. 
Anderson told me your location was classified, but I wanted to find you.
I would prefer to work with the Alliance, but would they give me the resources I need to attack the Collectors as soon as possible?
I understand why you don't trust Cerberus, but I want to prove to you that you can still trust me...

OMG, would it be so hard for them to have put lines like that in there???

Me, I'd envision some heavy duty yelling in there on Shep's part.

I do not think she'd just sit there and calmly take Kaidan's fit. At least I wouldn't. I understand Kaidan's position but they really should've let Shep express their feelings too.

They made all FemSheps sound like ****s while talking to Jacob.  So the answer would be yes, it probably was too hard.  Might have hurt the writers' heads to put in nice lines, I dunno.
