For those who may not have heard this was just tweeted:     "Mass Effect 2 Firewalker DLC featuring the Hammerhead coming Tuesday March 23rd!"

I know it will not feature Kaidan, but I thought some of you may be interested.

Oooh more reason to replay through ME1 with my cannon Shep (for the extra Kaidan goodness (almost typed godness *Giggle*)). Then I can replay ME2 with something new to do (while I miss Kaidan Posted Image).

Hmm maybe that'll motivate me to go through ME1 again and get ready for the new and 'improved' ME2....still..the game needs more Kaidan.

I usually play BW games to excess, the fact that I need motivation to play it again is troubling :?

I think we're all suffereing from that to a degree Mrs T.

They just went and cut all the good (Kaidan) from the game.

Yes and the lack of Alistair in Awakening is not helping the situation.

:? Thanks. I think I can remember most of what I wrote (I didn't have much because I got stuck), but.... there were other fanfic things on it as well as some school things. I've called the school, the dr's office, looked in my car, all associated bags.... Sigh. Knowing me it's probably somewhere really obvious, like on my desk, but I'm not having any luck finding it.
Could I get one last reminder of what the Normandy VI says when Shepard and ground team get back to the ship? "Stand by, shore party - Decontamination in progress - something about XO pressley..."?

"Stand by, shore party- Decontamination in progress.  Logged: the commanding officer is aboard.  XO Pressley stands relieved"

Totally unintentional, but Kaidan can totally be all over on my Normandy. Posted Image

Glad to see it's not just me. It's Bioware...what's wrong with me? <_<

I think we can fix the problem with BW. They just need to hire us all on as consultants. We'll get things fixed for them.

I still think BW would be incredibly foolish not to hire Tat as a writer when she finishes school :D  She would have written a proper Horizon reunion.

So I lost my flashdrive....
the one with my fanfic on it. :(

While I still hold out hope that you find it, this would be the reason I switched to Google Docs/Zoho for writing stuff on.  On my home computer, I use Syncplicity to sync up when I need to.  The rest of the time, I'm scribbling away on GDocs.  All three things listed have free versions or are just plain ol' free.
Hope that helps a little.

Just think of how great ME3 would be with us as consultants. There would be some combat and Reaper stuff in between these awesome shirtless/nekkid Kaidan scenes. Posted Image

Agreed.  Item one to address:  We need lots more Kaidan.  Number two:  Never, ever use the word "Ppprrriiizzzeee" when referring to FemShep ;)

That's a really good idea! Mostly I use the flash drive to transfer files from my desktop to my netbook (because I can't get them to 'see' each other when they're both on the same wireless network... it's annoying), and sometimes to computers at the library where I work. Google docs would definitely work in place of that. It's not very often that I'm transferring music or pictures around.
Thanks.

Also, thanks, Jois, for the VI info. I can never remember, haha.

Hahah... missing kaidan from her normandy... so great. ;)

This will probably be a depressing topic, but I was just thinking about the first time I played ME2 and I got to Horizon. First, it was all "Yay! Finally!" Then I was pretty sure the Collectors were going to abduct Kaidan, which would then be my main motivation for getting to their base. Then I was a bit confused that Kaidan somehow managed not to be captured. Then it was "What? Wait... Did he just dump me?!" I actually felt a bit deflated after that. I had to admire Bioware's guts for trying to play the romance like that, but felt like I'd been kicked in the chest. Then I got the email and was terribly confused. Then I didn't know whether to admire Bioware or hate them for reinacting an actual real life romance to me.

To sum up my feelings about Bioware, I quote HK-47: You are a very harsh master, Master. I like you.

Yes, they are indeed harsh meatbags ;)

I suppose I can understand/accept Kaidan's brief appearance in ME2 *if* he is given a major role as a crew mate and LI in ME3.

This.
I replayed the preceding battle three times to try to get a better conversation out of him. I was really sad. I had to go away and remind myself that he's not real, haha.
Then I got the email and was elated. And then confused. And then frustrated.

And then I started talking to people on here and realized that I hated what he did but I loved it too, because of what it said about his character, his convictions, and how true it was to himself. I like that he reacted like that, that he then felt terrible about it, and that he's obviously confused and still loves her and doesn't know what to think or where to direct his anger.

I think it was a very complex move on the part of bioware. I just wish that we'd gotten more Kaidan afterwards. Or that we'll get hella Kaidan in ME3. OR ELSE.

We get the results back... luckily the other thing turned out to be pnueamonia (I know the spelling is off) so double whammy.
