Don't think it will ever cross his mind, he's too 'worried' about where her arm and hand are at while she carries him, I'm sure.

Morning, everyone! Jho, love the new av! I also love that they didn't change the Kaidan rescuing thing for femsheps. It is maybe a little silly but it's such an awesome girl power moment. "Damnit, Alenko! I'm NOT leaving you behind! *hoist*"

So, like a silly girl, I went and rewatched the Horizon scene right before I have to leave for work. Now I'm all sad.

I'll admit I love that moment, it has a whole lot of acting to it beyond just the carrying - there's the whole "Hey, you still with me?" look when she first leans down towards him, and then helping him up and then finally deciding they need due haste just picking him up.

It would have been nice to have a medbay scene (like after Eden Prime) after this & before the debriefing, but then we wouldn't have gotten the Shepard sad face moment.

Aww.  Now you have to YouTube the Kaidan romance scene to counteract the sadness.  If you have nearby co-workers who can see your monitor, just tell them there are free cookies in the pantry or something.  That's what works for me...

LOL the Garrus one was kind of funny but it was just more evidence to me that they are better as friends.

I'll say one thing though they all make me thankful that we got the scene we got with Kaidan ...much better writing.

When you think about it, the scenes with Kaidan from ME1 will pull us through 4 years in total. Without them, where would we be?

The beauty of this second part of the trilogy is we realize what we had, but only after we lost it... sigh!

Yeah, despite loving Kaidan as a character, the ME1 romance could have used more detail and more dialogue. But again, so many of us have said it before, the new LI's really made us appreciate what we had already, despite its flaws.

And no, you would never find me in a Jacob thread, even without Kaidan that character just does not appeal to me. He could have been a great friend perhaps, but Bioware blew it. Just as they did with Garrus, who I really enjoyed talking to in ME1 but has little friendship dialogue in ME2...such a shame.

*crosses fingers* Hope they will bring back the awesomeness of the Bioware Dialogue Trees...I miss them so in ME.

They definitely blew it with the female romance options for ME2...not that I ever intended to pursue one but even though the only parts I've seen are on Youtube...your right...it does make you come to appreciate what you had with Kaidan.

I think the threads on this forum tell the story. Both the Thane and Garrus threads(taking into account the day they were started) are a lot less active than this one. And I wasn't even sure there was a Jacob thread until I checked...started 12 days ago(If I'm recalling that correct) and it was at about 6 pages.

Her little smile as she leans down and holds out her hand makes me so happy.

So, new topic! How would you like Bioware to reintroduce Kaidan in ME3? 

I would love it if after ~dramatic opening cut scene~ we're in a briefing with Anderson/Council/Udina ew I guess if you appointed him and they've finally decided to support you against the Reapers, or at least to not air quote "Reapers" at you anymore. The meeting is wrapping up, you're about ready to go and then! Annoucement! They'll be sending someone along to keep an eye on you, because no matter what you say, your activities in ME2 are questionable enough to make them question your loyalty (if he's there, Turian Councilor says something snarky). Door slides open and ta da! Commander Alenko! Your heart pounds! Squee! Curt, professional greetings are exchanged between Shep and Alenko, but those of us who romanced him get an extra look exchanged between the two of them that says there's lots of delicious angst and relationship problems to resolve - but he still loves you and he wants to make things work.

Of course not sure what would happen instead if you let TIM have the base.

I just hope we get to have Kaidan early on in the game, so that the relationship resolution isn't just "I'm sorry." "Me too." *smooch & sexy times* right before the final showdown.
