Oddly, wet frocks made me think of this.
Great minds, again.

I'm missing KaidanTime to go start a new ME1 character and fall for him all over again.
Always a wonderful reason to play ME1 again

On the somewhat more light hearted side, I can't seem to listen to The Next Contestant by Nickleback without picturing Kaidan giving all the random people coming onto Shepard, and the other LIs, a one way trip out the doors. ... And Joker as a DJ. *Blinks several times* Or EDI. 'kay, I'll just go back to doodling now.

ETA: and I want Kaidan in that 'tux' Shepaloo was wearing in the Kasumi trailer!

Well, since someone brought up 'older' songs, I'm rather fond of Paradise and The Sweetest Taboo by Sade for Shenko music. I think the lyrics on the second are very appropriate in particular, considering 'fraternization' and all

He would look good in the Cerberus officer uniform that had a seam ripper taken to its logos
In fact, he wore the phoenix armor in ME2 with the manly poise that I'd expected him to have.

Good morning, Jho! My curiosity about how leaving Kaidan behind on Virmire plays out got the best of me, so I'm replaying an old game I haven't imported into ME2 yet.

And Ash's reaction just makes it even more sad. I might have to go back to that game later on; I want to have a game with Ash alive, but I feel awful for killing off Kaidan.
Can never get myself to do that. So sadly Ash will always be dead in my games. Just can't do it

Well I left him yesterday, saved, and immediately had to close the game lol. I just tried to play it further, but after walking past his station on the Normandy and not seeing him there and talking to Ashley about it, I gave up and closed the game. Sadly, I forgot to save first, so I'll have to go through that conversation again.

Argh, I've never be able to do that either. Poor Ash will always have to take the blow unfortunately.

Very little... sure, but I'll take what I can get!
Gah, no Kaidan on the Normandy in ME1 either? That's too much to handle

Oh, I made a worse pushover - I used someone else save, with a FemShep who never romanced anyone and left Kaidan on Virmire. Still, I can't force myself to play a different FemShep than my "main".

Never managed myself to kill off Kaidan. What is Ash reaction like if you romanced Kaidan and sacrifice him in favour for her?

She talks about how you made the wrong choice leaving the superior officer behind, and later tells you that she can handle the idea of dying for the Alliance but not the idea of someone dying for her. And this screenshot I took after Virmire...
So far I haven't heard any specific references to your romance, though. Probably because at that point it's still just interest and you haven't had the night before Ilos.

When you save Kaidan he makes some comment like " she died because of _us_". I always saw it as you were unofficially very interested in each other, waiting for shore leave to pick it up for real. Imagine Ash reaction to that if she goes bananas over leaving a senior commander over her :x

Oh, and I think Ash "knew". Her words, when you're forced to choose, it was like "get the man you love and get out of here". Or it's just me.
BTW, if you read her mail, you know she was aware of what can happen if you get into relationship with someone of your team.

Ah yes, sex is the confirmation of their relationship. Odd, would have thought the consumating part was a thing of the past. Surprised the whole crew wasn't assembled outside Shep's room to celebrate, with Kaidan emerging triumphantly after the deed. *rolls eyes*
