Whedon

Let see

1.) strong female hero
2.) Kaidan get Virimared, because he is your love intrest
3.) Ashley is the strong type with lots of angst
4.) There wil not be a happying ending

And they'd probably have sex right before Virmire. :(

Which will make it even more angst for the hero to lose the man she loved she lost her virginty. :( :crying:

Whedon.. hm.. I don't know about Kaidan getting Virmired, that's too quick for Whedon.
More likely, Kaidan gets captured by Sovereign, is tortured horribly while Shepard has to watch, THEN gets Virmired.

And she'd never admit she loved him till he was dead.

Or Kaidan would go crazy from the torture and Shep would be forced to kill him...but just before he died, he'd have one final moment of lucidity and tell her he loves her.

Wait wait wait I've got it!

Mass Effect, directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

Male Shepard, Kaidan gets Virmired.

At the end, it turns out the whole movie was FemShep playing the Mass Effect game as ManShep.

Kaidan calls FemShep to bed with a bemused look as he realises Shep got him killed in the game.

"You've been a bad girl!" cue credits.

Shepard and Kaidan have to be kept apart for a large amount of time, suffer horribly, finally get back together and think they're in the clear, and THEN Kaidan will get shot in the head/harpooned through the body/have his soul consumed by  a demon/etc...

Whedon needs to stay away from the franchises I love, I can't take that formula anymore...

Yeah Virmired is too quick for Joss Whedon. He likes to torture his characters a little before the whole dieing part in which I could see Sovereign capturing Kaidan turning him in to a sleeper agent, and having female Shepard kill him, and then telling her he loved her whit his dying breath. I love him to death, but the man loves angst. He need to flash out some of his characters. to were their is a happy ending for them.

I'd be :crying::crying::crying::sick::(:sick::o, if that happend god I love his storying telling to death, but can't the man write a happy ending for once.

Man I am good at figureing out Whedon. :P

Or!

His L2s keep giving him problems throughout the movie and he *doesn't* get Virmired, but after the defeat of Saren, Kaidan's implants suddenly make him go nuts and either try to kill everyone or he has to live in an asylum for the rest of his days.

I've successfully completed Kaidan free games. (And the scene after Virmire doesn't really change whether you're romancing Kaidan or not, as I recall, which I found sad. And thus reloaded the one where I was romancing him and kept him alive to keep going.)

I quite enjoy watching Ashley confront the Human's First dummies on the Citadel after the lockdown if you've helped her change her mind about aliens. She is awesome. *am sad Ashley has to die so often in my games*

I have tried to do it, but I can't.  I can't let Ashley stay with the nuke, either, seeing her watch the Normandy leave her behind is just too sad.  :crying:  If I send her to the AA tower, I just imagine she suffered a fatal wound, and Kirrahe's men had to leave her behind while they were going back.

As for Awakening, yeah, I'm going to wait for mods and a new patch before I play anymore.  I apparently encountered the Silverite Mines bug last night...that or the game just stole my main character's clothes and won't give them back...:pinched:

I'm going to take a chance and respond to this before finishing my catch-up... *looks over shoulder for ninja*
Spoiler.............

Actually in the Silverite Mine you do lose your clothes - so you're game isn't necessarily bugged. Part of the quest is finding the various creatures that have all your stuff. .

That's it! Despite the wonderful dialogue, Whedon is allowed nowhere near the Mass Effect scripts!

Instead of possessing Saren's corpse, Sovereign possesses Kaidan.
Shepard must either shoot Kaidan in the head, or let the galaxy burn.

Edit: Oh and by the way, Sovereign can possess Kaidan because of his L2 implants, which are part of a huge conspiracy among human traitors to allow the Reapers to control humans.
Which Captain Anderson inadvertantly authorised while rubber stamping some things back in the day..

Nah, I've said this before and I'll say it again.
As per standard Hollywood action/sci-fi schlock it'd go like this:

Shepard would be the big buff male hero.
Liara would be the love interest.
Ashley would be the tough female co-star who ends up dying, hence Ashley is Virmired.
Kaidan ends up as the male comic relief/reinforcer of Shepard's alpha male status, thus requiring him to constantly fail and/or complain and be obnoxious.

....

Actually dying on Virmire might be preferable. :pinched:

And this is why I hope a ME movie never becomes reality

There is a bug where the mobs wont drop your gear. From reading the tech forum it seems quite many suffer from it.

So
what do people think of having a Jessica Alba as Female Shepard?

Oh, no, just not her. I'm not gonna explain why, just...
she's waaay too girly. Finding a good actress for Shep would be like
finding a good actress for major Kusanagi.
Besides... You guys know
what happened to Resident Evil, Blood Rayne etc, etc...

Anyone
remember Angela Bassett in Strange Days?  She could pull off a
good strong Shepard.  Though I have to agree, I hope they don't actually make a movie, for all the reasons everyone's already given.

Still pondering who should play the others, hmm..

I was hoping I was mistaken, but I've been looking up info on it all day today...some people (like me) are not having the fourth Experimental Subject spawn, which means that you don't get your PC's gear back.  If you're nekkid and the rest of your party has generic clothes when you're imprisoned, you've got the bug.  I think the solution right now is just reloading before you're jailed, and stripping your main character.  Ugh.

Edit:  Also, Velanna is waaaay ****ier than Morrigan, so far.

Velanna is also redundant.

Hey ******, I have Anders. I don't have to use you.... ever. Thanks for not endearing yourself to me in any way, I might have to think about my party choices otherwise.
