I will probably not get the Paramour achievement until ME3 is announced. By then, whatever choices I'll make won't affect anything, and I can stop being paranoid. But I'll have to make a maleShep to get with Jack...we'll be space pirates and it will be awesome!

Well, if you play maleShep there are some nice choices you can make for a romance if you are single. As a femShep, the only one I'd ever consider would maybe be Garrus - but even if my Shep was single - he's always like a brother that I don't think I could unfriendzone him.

Thane and Jacob are *blech* for me.

I'll have one that  will not romance anyone in the first game that will get that reachievement with Garrus. I had too  restart  all my achievements, and I'll have one that will not romance anyone in the first game. She will be the one that will romance Garrus.. See I had moved my profile to my gamer tag to get X-BOX LIVE.

And I kinda liked Thane, he was a nice guy.

So far, I'm unenthused by Thane and Jacob.  Thane seems to be screaming "I'm THE PERFECT SENSITIVE GUY!"  And well, Shep comes on to Jacob like a drunken cheerleader on prom night and she's his consolation PRAAAZZZZE.

I like Thane a lot, but only as a friend. If there's a way Shepard can be a close friend to him as his health deteriorates, she will find it.

Miranda just came off as a b*tch to me.

My BF romanced Miri in his playthrough of ME2, and she softens quite a bit from what I saw. I really liked her (even in my femShep playthrough she softened up).

Course, I am currently replaying ME1 as my cannon femShep so I can romance Kaidan again. I'm also keeping track of each save that lets me go back and retalk to all the unique Kaidan conversations.

I dont know, Thane just came off as a nice guy to me when I saw his romance conversations.
And with that name he calls you.

He called his wife the same name.

Does Samara accept his love?

Or reject him like in ME2?

I'm not sure yet. He's very paragon, but the way that he treats women is his downfall. He's a one-night-stand kind of guy and a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen.

I was thinking of doing that too but with Liara. Hows it coming along so far?

Very well actually because I save before I talk to him, and then I create a new save after talking to him to keep using until the next conversation is to take place. And I quicksave alot during missions (since I'm doing my first Hardcore playthrough).
