Handled very maturely. The reason I come to this thread. Though you have to admit some of the reasons they state are shortsighted and unjustified.
I starts maturely, yes, but it's one of the threads that will suffocate somewhere between old, dead topics, after a couple troll attacks and a couple of reasonable posts. People are already tired. Shortsighted or not, how many of them found themselves in a situation, where they were upset and said something that just popped into their heads. They don't realise they have a little Kaidan somewhere inside them each time they call him "whiner".
Truth is, Kaidan hever had a fangroup as big as Liara for example (I'm surprised how many fans revealed themselves after ME2, I guess we had to "lose" him to appreciate him), and he will be always "underrated", thus nobody in the said thread never really wondered how he feels. Personally I don't feel obligated to force them. Maybe force is to strong word. My english is bad enough so I can't really speak my mind. But you get the simple picture.

Look at the converging flock of stupid!
Yeah, it's mostly people who are incapable of listening to and understanding dialogue in an RPG complaining about characters they don't comprehend. If there was anyone not just being a sheep repeating "whiny, boring, lol, killed him on Virmire." I would jump in, but the stupid is too deep...

Indeed, their loss. Nothing we haven't seen before, hardly worth the attention. Funny to see they revived an old post just to say they think Kaidan is lame or whatever. That's love too....in a way

LOL, I noticed, it's posted in the wrong forum, necro'ed from 3 weeks ago, and many of the posters apparently don't like Thane OR Kaidan because they talk too much.
Heavens forbid Thane or Garrus has an opinion that contradicts something Shepard wants in ME3. GASP...or Tali...

They'll make huge posts justifying how it's HER mission and you're working for HER so you have to do what SHE WANTS because it's ALL ABOUT HER.

Actually in Tali's case they'll just do whatever she wants, like the whole coverup of her father's crimes on the Flotilla thing.

That makes me laugh. Rest assured, I wouldn't do anything Tali could possibly say. There is no one to punish in case of her father, he's already dead. I can at least allow the girl's family name not to be tarnished in addition to probable exile. Not to mention the entire trial is using Tali as a chess piece for the Admiral's own agenda.
There are various legitimate reasons to not hand in the evidence, sure.
But "lol it's Tali's mission you work for her!" ain't one of them. Seriously among some people it's the one time where suddenly it's the player and by extension Shep who's not allowed to have an opinion.

Oh, I didn't present the evidence at the trial either, it's just a jerk move to do so, but imagine if Tali refused to join Shepard in ME3, and you couldn't talk her into coming with the party? OMG, the anger on this forum...
I like Tali, but giving her father the geth parts when she didn't know what he would do with them was a good example of why Ash/Kaidan were justified in not having blind faith. Sometimes, even the people you love and trust will surprise you, and not in a good way...

Some people just need to feel loved by all. And thus they get all worked up when encountering someone who doesn't grovel in awe at the sight of their hero.
It's understandable in a way, though not my thing. Maybe that's one of the reasons there are so many LI's right now, everybody has to fall in love with Shepard or something. Could explain why Shepard is so forward with Jacob as well, she already knows he's hers even though he doesn't know it yet. It's the way of things
I would love for more characters who are supposed to be on Shepard's side, to give her a hard time. Not the obvious villains or dorks you encounter on missions. Actually it would be funny if some boss guy swoons over Shepard in a mission and ends up being shot by one of his men for being an idiot

I still believe that there is either some hormonal/pheremone thing that Cerberus either installed in Shepard or on the Normandy that explains her behavior.
