Seems to me that Norman meant the Thane and Garrus outfits, otherwise IDK. I guess it could be an outfit for femshep but...I don't think that warrants "very very happy" IMO.milkabi wrote...
Ugh I hope the reward is worth it too, Some of the things they are saying don't exactly turn out the way we imagine - the Kasumi DLC making femsheps very happy - I really don't see what will be so grea about this dlc.
As for whether they'll deliver on their promise to reward players, I unfortunately don't know, only time will tell. But if I had to say, they will.

yes, but will their reward remotely live up to our expectations? That's the real issue.
My expectations are Kaidan as a squadmate, conversations and cutscenes leading to a rekindled romance, a love scene (featuring nekkid Kaidan chest

It might be that, but you don't PLAY that DLC.

True, but don't confuse "they" as in information BioWare releases during what amounts to a comsumer press conference with "they" as in one tweet from… who the hell was that anyways? Did we even have comfirmation that that's what that person was talking about?
Besides, if the ME1 LIs are important enough to ME3 that they needed to be kept out of harm's way, and given that Ash/Kai leaves the door quite open in their make-up message, it seems pretty reasonable to believe that there will be a reward. Of course that assumes that you're thinking "reward" as "more romance with" and not the aforementioned "+500 Palladium."

I'm wondering what's up with the dlc as well. Can my Shep be a pretty pretty princess for a day? Do I get to keep the outfit? I'm not going to hold out hope though.

Christina Norman twittered something like "Playing a mission that will make femshep very very happy". She later confirmed this was refering to the Kasumi DLC. I'm putting my bets on a new femshep outfit. I don't think it's related to a LI, because i'm guessing you will be able to do the loyalty mission straight away in the same manner as Zaeed, and you might not have picked up Thane/Garrus etc, or met Kaidan.archonambroseus wrote...

I hope it's not one of those cutout dresses that everyone and their mom wears in the ME universe... though I'd take it over wearing terrorist logos.

This. My guess is "a dress" from the start. They better make it VERY pretty. Damn, my Tech Armor will look stupid on any casual clothing X_x
If Shep's can't dance... I wonder if she can walk wearing high heels?

Doubt she can walk on heels, which could be interesting with all the vases and whatnot around...

I'm not going to get my hopes up for a pretty dress, unfortuately.
DudeShep appears to be wearing the Cerberus officer uniform that's been retextured. So, femShep will proly wear the same... at best, we'll get the floor length cutout dress that most females wear

Shortly after you get back to the ship (in real time you've got to think it's less than a week), Kaidan sends a letter where the first thing he does is apologize because he KNOWS he acted out of anger and hurt and didn't really say what he wanted to say, and he explains his actions and thoughts better. (I've got the entire thing up here: http://annakie.com/kaidansletter.jpg) We all know the letter doesn't fix everything, but he makes it pretty clear that he still has feelings for Shepard. He doesn't exactly give his blessing for what he's doing, but he does basically say he has faith in her and still cares about her deeply. The letter went a long way to smoothing things over for me. It wasn't everything I wanted it to be and it didn't completely make up for what happened, but it was enough.
Between that and the picture gazing scene before the Omega 4 relay, Bioware gave just juuuust enough to keep our hopes up.
*Edit* Also, I may be the only one who kinda likes Jacob... I'm looking forward to playing ME2 again after Kasumi comes out with a Xenophobic super Renegade, Pro-Cerberus Femshep who's going to romance him. Kaidan will have to be dead, it's the only way I'll be able to not be faithful.
I also finished my super screenshotty playthrough of ME2 last night. Got about 1500 screenshots to tag and upload and I'll be done..ish... with ME2!

It wouldn't hurt if BW made some new model (Hey! Miri got one!)... Even ANet started to produce "outfits" in Guild Wars (gotta pay for them, but still).
About the heels - She probs would cuss and complain about how unpractical those things are. My Shep is kinda like this... Doesn't really care if that haircut or make-up really suits her, that she don't have enough sleep and looks like a zombie in the process =P
Ooops, killed the thread.

Hehe, that's a cute addition to that pic!
I would like a cute little black dress for the Kasumi DLC, but it wouldn't make it a must buy. I'll wait for forum reviews and see how I feel in a week or so. The idea of smashing vases in a museum is pretty appealling, though.
Re: Annakie: yep, the email from Kaidan made all the difference to me after Horizon. I was hella pissed at first, and thought it was a horrible cop out to have Kaidan behave that way when Tali and Garrus were fine with joining Cerberus. Now I'm okay with it, and the Kaidan message is the only one I leave unread in all my playthroughs.

Me too! I keep it there so when my Shep goes up to her cabin she can stare at his picture and re-read his email. Over and over again.

Yea i mostly see it as a plot device to keep them safe for me3. It also opens up for you to date the other Li's in a smooth way.Collider wrote...
Shepard literally saves Tali and Garrus from dying (return favor, etc), and both of them don't really have any attachments. Whereas Kaidan is still in the Alliance and has just learned that you were alive. I think it's important to consider that Bioware wanted them to have a justification not to join Shepard. I'm fairly certain the romance will continue and mend in ME3.

Kaidan peeks at your mailbox (usually when you read mail, it's automaticaly "marked as read").
K: Um... You didn't read the message?
Sh: Huh? What me-AH THAT message! I did!
K: I can see you didn't...
Sh: I did! I just marked it "unread" so I could always find it...
K: You could press this star-shaped thingy for that...
(lectures Shepard how to use a gee-mail)
K: So... did you really read it?
