I've been trying to work on mine today too but it's hard when hubby's home. Anyway, if you get the chance post a link to your fic on the thread in the group as well as here just in case some people don't read the support thread regularly but check the fanfic thread.

The only news, that is real news are newspapers in the USA  I am glad I have the BBC, since at least they are more fair with their news.

Not sure what to make of the DA scenes really. The underwear really made me snicker, fact that it's ugly underwear made it worse. But the flashes you get, the second here and few seconds there, I dunno..just wasn't my thing. I adored the way Alistair looked at the Warden in his though, passion written all over his face. Lovely detail but still odd scenes. In a way I like the kissing scene better than the actual lovescene.

I liked Alistair's best out of the lot, it was sweet, tender and romantic, and fit his character very well. Zevran's made me laugh. A lot!

I was thinking about this the other day, it really sucks that in the night before Ilos scene, before the kiss, while they're still talking, Kaidan steps closer to Shep and they continue to talk, but you don't even get to see his face! You just get a sliver of your Shep's face and Kaidan's hair bump. They could have done some beautiful facial expressions there. Budget concerns/time constraints, perhaps?

If you want to do a lovescene and not show too much, why not focus on the faces a bit more, on emotion rather than bodylanguage. Zoom in on the bare back of a man who's holding an obvious naked Shepard but you don't see much of her. There are so many ways of suggesting they are making love without seeing full body contact or whatever. You can avoid the big no no areas like, heaven forbid, breasts, that way too.
A man can still seem to touch a woman without having to show the full detail of where his hands are caressing her, but a shot of her face with closed eyes and parted lips can say a lot

ITA, ITA. As far as sexiness, ME1 >>>>>>>>>>>> ME2. Sometimes less really is more.

Sadly, even the ocean we have between us and the Americans (no offense ) isn't enough to protect us from the Fox News web. Firstly, Sky News is owned by the same people, and secondly, if restrictive measures get passed in the US over games, we affected by it too as us and Europe aren't a big enough market to be worth the scenes that would be left out.

Also, BBC is good, but ONN is better...

I really hope they go back to the kind of love scenes used in ME1. I remember first time I saw it, and I was like Wow this is beautiful. Mass effect is a M rated game, the loves scenes should be made for that audience not teenage boys. Funny the love I scene I liked best in ME2 is Garrus, and it consist of a head bump.

Yeah, I like that love scene but I didn't feel the Garrus romance as a romance. At least, that was the impression I got when watching the vids in youtube. They might develop it in ME3, but I bet my Shep is all for Kaidan in ME3 and make up sex with him.

I get that feeling, as the new poster girl she'd be getting more attention or maybe first attention when it came to crafting these scenes.

They probably never gave a crap, and I'm willing to bet half the Fox news viewers just accepted their word for what the game contained. You'd think it was that god awful RapeLay or something they way they talked about it (and if you don't know that one, you are blessed with ignorance in this case - lets just say that Japan is a very messed up place).

I believe EA said they weren't going to sue because they didn't want to draw attention to the attention whoring Fox News.

:lol::lol:If that's the case they have lost touch with the female audience. I would say that it was because Miranda and Jacob held the protagonist roles in ME2 that Kaidan and Ash held in ME but that really doesn't hold water since Liara's was longer in ME.

Voted already...The Talimancers are ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL of everything, pretty much. If you look at the number of votes for the other characters, our boy really doesn't do too badly.
