Philippines? No, they were in Singapore. Well, the accident was at the Singapore International Spaceport, IIRC. Which doesn't really mean anything as Kaidan's father was in the Alliance and he could have just been stationed there.

Especially since his dad was Alliance military... they can live anywhere and everywhere. 

I've always thought he looked vaguely mediterranean/eastern european, myself.

Ah, sorry. Still, I was in the ballpark. As for biotic poisoning, I thought Kaidan said distinctly that biotics those days were from infants being exposed to element zero in the womb. I suppose you could say she may have just been passing through there...but to me there seems to be some asian in Kaidan, if only for the color of his hair. But I wouldn't know.

Right. I think he's probably most Slavic, or going in a completely different direction, maybe a tiny bit Arabic/Iranian(?) Slavic is the best fit for me. Ukrainian, cos of the -enko name, although apparently "Alenko" isn't actually a Ukrainian last name. Of course this would be ethnicity only and not necessarily where he grew up. The character design people did a wonderful job making him a *mumblemumble* hunk of pixels *mumblemumble* manmeat.

Siceneist and NASA have a plan to terraform Mars It looks like the events from ME1 might become a realty which would be so cool, if we discovered a base on Mars ect.
