Yeah, I like Jacob just fine when he's a neutral "bromance" character, but when my FemShep first started talking to him, I was VERY upset at how flirty and seductive Shepard sounded, when I wasn't pursuing a romance with Jacob at all.  It was very UNattractive to be "forced" into flirting with him, and I think it turned a lot of FemShep players off.

Also, having him say that Miranda deserves a better man than him, and then seeing him as a romance option, is a turn off.  So he's not good enough for Miranda, but Shepard will do???  Please.

Kaidan does save Shep on Virmire (sp). If you send Kaidan to arm the bomb and then you go back and rescue him Saren will approach you there. He strangles Shep until Kaidan knocks him off. This happened on my first playthrough and I got all "my hero" after that.

Thanks for the support.   I agree we need to keep cheering for our favorite ME1 LI to return as a full squad mate in ME3.

I would pay a great deal for this DLC.

I really think Bioware needs to give in to this cash cow.

You know, with how money-hungry EA is, you would think they would jump all over the DLC-Romance request, because it's not just us Kaidanites who want it...(even though I think the 'mancers who got something in ME2 are just getting greedy w/ fanservices.)

Something that has been sorta mentioned that has me interested is the interaction between NPCs, I would really like to see some kind of dialogue with Kaidan and Jack in regards to their Biotics. Granted Kaidan didn't have it nearly as bad as Jack did, but he certainly didn't have it good. I just think it would be a really interesting interaction.

*Sidenote* I hated that despite I was a biotic in ME and in my ME2 transfer, that I didn't have any biotic specific dialogue w/ Jack. In ME you were able to choose dialogue while talking with Kaidan about where you were trained and your implant...etc.

I agree, that Jacob is a great guy, but I think someone had a little to much fun talking to Jacob. I want all character in Me3.

He'd find Mordin hilarious, though perhaps find him to be a little too far on the grey side of things. Meeting Grunt would remind him of Wrex, whom he'd secrety sort of miss, and Jack...well, I don't think he'd quite know what to make of her. He'd probably try to help her get over some of her trauma, she'd try to jump his bones (standard defense mechanism) in response and he'd go running straight to Shep's quarters for safety.

Second topic is a little more light-hearted: Kaidan's hair: love it or hate it? How would you like it to be in ME3? I think it looks fine in most views in ME1 and 2, because we get a lot of frontal shots (minds out of the gutters, ladies!) so it looks like it's cut nice and short in the back. So I was surfing this X-rated site earlier today...  you know, for, ummm....  research purposes.  Yeah, that's it.  And there was a Dragon Age video over there.  Apparently the PC DA gamers have modded the game's romance scenes to remove the participants' smallclothes.  And add things.  Like positions.

Anyway, if you're at home, and bored, and you want to see Alistair's...  um...  lamppost, go over to that site that starts with "x" and ends with "tube" and search for Dragon Age.  Should be the first video that comes up.  Suffice to say, it's in NO way SFW.

Ok, as the self appointed Jacob spokesperson of these forums, “since it seems I’m the only one who actively advocates for him on these forums” I see your point Femshep does sound a little we will say “off” when conversing with Jacob Taylor, but that isn’t Jacobs fault, so lets agree to put all bad blood aside and work together to get both Kaiden and Jacob into the next game, with a little more “faithful” voice acting on Femshep part. Because I like both Kaiden and Jacob a lot, I play Maleshep a lot more then Femshep (3 Male, 1 Female) but I both these characters are still my some of my favorites even though they aren’t love interests they’re still very interesting and wonderful characters.

Honestly, that little bit about Jacob's 'batnipples' was a bit of an inside joke from the previous Kaidan thread. The way Jacob's platonic dialogue worked out was very unfortunate.

Like I said, I wouldn't want anyone's favorites to be excluded in ME3

LOL, or you could just go to DragonAgeNexus.com and browse the top rated mods and find it for yourself. 

I can't even think of using those sort of mods, because I have a kid who likes to watch me play games (and I don't want to pay for a therapist down the road), but it never ceases to amaze me that I can never find nice new leather armor or mage hoods, but there are new nude mods on dragonagenexus EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

Lol, I actually put the naked mod on my Dragon Age then went in to hysterics when I saw Alistair's "weapon", cough.  He certainly doesn't need a sword anyway.  It was hysterical in the sleep with Morrigan scene, or the get the sacred ashes, purify by fire scene.

As far as I know, it's a strictly platonic dialogue. I believe it takes place in the spot where he'd tell Shepard that he cares about her and doesn't want her to cut corners.

Kaidan got along with Garrus for the most part in ME, but I think Garrus being so bent on revenge would kind of be turn off, I'm not sure, but I think Garrus being so obessed about it would bother him.
Didn't Kaidan think Tali was a little weird/interesting in the first one? Because Quarians never leave the Fotilla and she was all "ZOMG Spaceship!". Or was that an different character? I need to play ME again, I never got into Tali, I can't remember who said what in regards to her     But I think Kaidan would get along with Tali in ME2.
I think Mordin and Grunt would amuse Kaidan with their antics.
I can really see him not liking Miranda, Kaidan isn't the "at any cost, by any means" type, while Miranda definately is.
I see him getting along well with Jacob, maybe a little put off by him leaving the Alliance, but for the most part I see them as friends.


As for his hair, I love it...it's unique  and it's a military like cut: thin sides, high top, so it fits him.

Yeah, it's nothing major serious or anything, I just liked that you could talk about it...added to Shep's character background.
It takes place when you talk about his biotic training, before he joined up w/ the Alliance.

I love how we talk random like this. I think Kaidan bunking in Sheaprds bedroom lol is a great idea. I am playing though Me1 again to see Kaidan, and play as the same class as him.
