I'd be happy if we could just get some confirmation from BW that he will be a part of our squad - I really don't need to know anything else about ME3
Yeah, that would sure put my mind at ease.
btw had my first Kaidan dream. First thing I/Shepard did when seeing him was cup his face with her hands and tell him she remembered their night together because it was just months for her, then she told him she missed him so, needed him and finally the "I love you, so very much". I remember feeling rushed to have my Shepard tell him all of that before getting interrupted lol
Odd though, it's my dream, from my eyes but it's Shepard...weirdness rofl

lol, If I have dreams I never remember them which may be a good thing considering where my mind goes. I really hope one of the first things we get to do in ME3 is tell him all the stuff you dreamt about, but I just know that Bw are going to make us wait till before the final battle, damn them.
Yeah that's why I remember feeling so rushed, either to tell him before waking up or the crap that was coming their way lol think the whole sekrit pic mess gave me the Kaidan dream hehe

Yeah it was all that touching up and zooming in that did it

Hmm..so Bioware apologised for the Bazaar thing eh? Well that takes away some of the annoyance, still think they could have seen it coming/dealt with it way better at the start though. Seems fans excluded from the Bazaar will get their own event...at least they are trying
I'll take an ingame Kaidan mail as a possible reward, ktnxbye

Compared to romances in other games I would still count it as pretty good. My choice would be:
1- Kaidan
2-Alistair
3-(Gann)
4-Carth

@Jho - yeah I don't care about the whole bazaar thing but I do think Bioware stuffed up badly with the whole countdown thing & the 'epic community event' announcement. I don't understand how they couldn't see that it would PO some people given the way these forums usually work.
I'm sure they knew about the legal difficulties prior to the event launch, a simple statement saying they had problems so the Bazaar event was for a specific territory only but events for their other fans are on their way, would have been better. I mean they must have been planning their 15 year anniversary for a while, yes?
Oh well, they'll learn from it hopefully.
About the Carth romance. I don't remember it that way, then again I played Kotor so long ago and Bioware has improved their romances mostly so maybe in comparison it's odd now. I just remember teasing Carth like there was no tomorrow and loving his laugh and responses.
But he can't compare to Kaidan, so I don't get the comparison either...cept for Sbarge ofcourse.

I find it funny that the teen fanboys dislike Kaidan because of the "Carth voice" thing, yet everyones favourite in Republic Commando, Scorch, is also voiced by Sbarge

I thought the teasing/flirting was nice. Compare to many other games it's still among the better ones though. But that might just be because they tend to be quite bad in other games (female romances usually get shafted while the male ones are nicely developed). And I agree, I think my comparison (and in game experience as a consequence) is suffering from the great romances that Alistair and Kaidan are. I think there's a large gap between those two and the rest.
Now they just need to give Kaidan the same amount of dialogue they gave Alistair

Yea, that would be the optimal ME3 imo
edit: thanks for the link!

Yea, that would be the optimal ME3 imo. I think they introduced too many romances in me2 though. Would have been better with only two (with a third same-sex option) or so, which you could have fleshed out more and put more development in. If they use all your ME1 and ME2 squad in ME3 you have 4 male romances, 4 female and 1 same-sex one, 9 in total... Way too many imo, almost to the point of being ridiculous.
edit: thanks for the link!
Ridiculous? Without a doubt. It's what a large part of their fanbase wanted though. Even with the huge number of LI's, there are still some who want more. Luckily it seems a lot of people believe it's quality over quantity now, but the damage is done nonetheless and although they can write off a lot of LI's...it's still a shame characters like Garrus became a lot more shallow as a friend.

Yeah unfortunately the shooter direction & the sheer number of possible LI's is going to really affect the amount of conversation available.

I think you need to correct that to 3 femshep romances - did anyone actually romance Jacob,( & not delete their game), lol

Lol I don't think here is the place to ask, it doesn't exactly abound with Jacob love

Funny the only people I have actually seen defend Jacob and say he's great seem to be boys

If Bioware wanted to sideline some of your companions for ME3 i would put Jacob on top of that list. He must be among the least popular squad members out there (that's the impression i get from polls and discussions about him atleast). Putting resources into him would be a waste imo.
Well that's how a lot of people once felt about Kaidan too...
