My personal feeling is that every LI except for Kaidan, Ash & Liara should get cameos in ME3 just to even the score, lol
I really would have preferred the casual fling with Ken than have Jacob as a full fledged LI.

Jho you really wouldn't want your inbox bombarded with pics of Jacob & dragUdina would you?

Well that's how a lot of people once felt about Kaidan too... I do believe the so called 'flings' will get cameo's.

I think it's a problem  with these forums in general. People tend to pick out the things they dislike (yea, I do it too :x) to a much greater extent then what they enjoyed. So when Kaidan was sidelined in Me2 there was an uproar of people, like me, who felt they had to give their opinion in the matter. Garrus and Tali are examples of that in ME1 where people came forward wanting them for LI's. And when people realise Bioware actually listens it feeds the feeling of it making a difference actually supporting different squad mates.

I actually think it was a mistake to bow to pressure & make Tali & Garrus LI's given that they obviously had a fair few slated for ME2 already (not sure if Thane was already down as an LI or once again they bowed to pressure). I love Garrus dearly but as a friend for my Shep and I hate the whole work off some stress approach his romance took.

Same here. I always loved Garrus as a friend and Tali. I fount the Tali romance to be strange at first because she always seemed so young to me in ME1; on her pilgrimage and overly-excitable. But I've watched the videos of the romance and have to admit it is very sweet. But I don't think the other LIs are approached very romantically, more like; HEY YOU! LETS BONK!

I started playing ME2 with an open mind about whether Shep would go for a new LI, but none of them came close to how sweet and romantic Kaidan's love at first sight plot was  I knew as soon as I met Jacob that Kaidan was the only man for JenShep. As soon as Jacob says; "Have a nice trip." when using pull, its just...no. It suits his character I guess but...no.

1. the I'm a biotic speech when you first meet him. given that all my sheps are biotic I wanted to slap a warp on him an say well so am I so shut the hell up & take out the mechs moron.

2. the fact he was supposedly the head of security - not very confidence inspiring, lol

3. sheps skanky act when talking to him on the Normandy

I do hope this was a mistake on the directors part. What happened to the sexy voice Shep used on Kaidan before Ilos? That was brilliant, it was sexy and sophisticated. Then again, the more romantic tone would not have fit the way that Jacobs 'love' story develops, so I guess it fits if you persue it. It maybe a mistake on the editing, using that greeting straight away rather than the neutral one you get after the collector base...

Don't care what they do to the other LI's as long as Kaidan gets what was promised, a large role in ME3. I'll toss all LI's out of the airlock to make that happen!



I do hope they bring back more RPG elements in the form of dialogue though. I do want more dialogue, more smooching and party banter.

Yes I would like to see more RPG elements too, but I can't see it happening now that they've gone in the shooter direction to appeal to misguided masses

I actually see Alistair as not having any chest hair or not very much anyway.  don't know why, maybe its because he's so much younger than Kaidan & Carth which is dumb I know but there you go

lol really? he looked darn fine all smooth...too smooth for me but fuzzy?

Jho, I know you're in need of work materials (read screenshots =p ), so I'm creating an album for Kaidan on imgshack, where I'm gonna throw some... things. Both in my normal resolution and 3x larger. Aaand yes, loaded my pre-Ilos savegame... Suddenly I was really nervous buuut *sigh* flycam doesn't work everywhere. I mean it does during dialogues. In cutscenes it tends to freeze at random point and won't turn a bit, sometimes it's movable, but it's hard to take a good angle... Really. Especially when you.... can't... focus *ehem*

I used mod to actually have Alistair with chest hair in game :x so yes!

Yea if you compare ME1 with ME2 it seems they are leaving many of the rpg aspects behind in favour for game flow and action. Something I have been enjoying greatly with kotor is all the puzzles (tons and tons of them) which have kept me busy and sometimes pulling my hair to solve them This is something they have minimal with in ME2 (you have two mini-games which aren't challenging at all and quickly becomes repetive). Seems they want to minimize things in the game which will frustrate people and keep things as simplistic as possible.

Same things goes for interaction between party members. I just love party banter and it feels really empty and cold without it.
