Hmm
– does anyone else know this phenomenon of hearing a song and suddenly finding yourself thinking to what scene of your fanfiction it would fit – or what character would listen to it? No? Well it just works for me that way.
Anyway,
I just stumbled over the band Blood Red Shoes and on their website they have an official player. The fifth song: When we wake makes me think of a song that Shepard and Kaidan could both listen to in one of their gloomy moments – some time after Horizon or even before that.
Here's the link if anyone wants to give it a try.

Well, everyone has preferences. I like Alistair - while he might be a bit whiny at times, he is rather funny and sarcastic with a touch of morbid humor. I had a lot of fun with it - as well as his shyness. So all in all - it worked out well for me.
High Five for Alistair love!
Alistair is definitely imperfect, but he's young, inexperienced, and confused about his place in the world. I love that his character has that depth, and I'm glad that they weren't afraid to make a lead male character who isn't an alpha male. Don't get me wrong, Kaidan is my number one video game boyfriend...but Alistair is just too charming and cute to discount. Which is why I can't play Awakening. It's too heartbreaking.

No worries - I already hate you for it... (not that I have enough things going through my head already... argh)
I hope you don't dream of Yetis

Hun, everytime I hear a song it gets karaoke treatment from one game character or another and I've no doubt they would tury into fics if I could find the time.
Believe me, everytime I hear Bulletproof by La Roux...Jack is singing it in my mind and I dont know why...

I love Alistair, and think that he's the best character in DAO, and the fantastic job Steve Valentine did of VA doesn't hurt him either.

Hehe, yeah I have a lot of songs that work that way.
Just when I heard this one I have this cutscene in my mind. I see Kaidan leaning to the left frame of a window staring outside into the void - a heavy sigh moving his face. A slow fade to Shepard standing on the right side of the window from the observation room (Samara's room) staring into the blackness herself.
And then it continues to fade from one to another - getting faster until they show up in the same picture - side by side and though they are apart they know the other one is out there - waiting and hoping.
... Crap I get too detailed with this... I hate those days when I just have to type -type-type no matter what or how well. *bangs head on keyboard*

Morning to you - though it is just about 1:15 am here. And yes, I loved him and I was squealing like I was 15 again when I started to actually flirt with him and got my first kiss from him... well my character (sadly...)
Steve does an incredible job and I hope we get to see more of that eventually.

And after that first kiss "That wasn't too soon, was it?" how he was just whispering it so shyly...
I played that game wayyyy too much I think.

although with the naturals & better sex mod he's not so sweet, or if you take him to have 3some with Isabella, lol

I'd like to see Kaidan's practical and thoughtful side in ME3 more. He puts the interests of Shepard first, and that's why he fought with her on Horizon over Cerberus. Maybe he gives her a gift of a new weapon or an armor upgrade. That would be super sweet.

I also tried the dialog-fix but I am not sure if I actually got it to work right.
But the simple fact that I could get the scene with him whenever we were in camp was appeasing (prays to the modder's Gods) - not like the ME saves.
I love to load the savegame from ME1 just before Ilos but having to see all the rest and that unpleasant end of the Kaidan-scene... it's just not the same. It all leads back to my opinion of the sex-ratio... and the missing details - and length of the cinematics in ME. I demand satisfaction - BW!

Do it all the time. Fanfic happiness to me is iTunes, a Coke, and the 2300-0200 timeframe. Interesting song. And why would ANYONE apolagize for randomness one this thread?
