Good morning all! Good to see we're still in the gutter, where I left off last night!



I really do hope that whomever is writing Kaidan in ME3 (because he IS going to be a squadmate and get lots and lots of gametime, absolutely positively) is paying attention to us Kaidan fans...not necessarily the silliness and posting of shirtless pics in this thread, but the serious discussion, and even the fan fiction, which would give them a good idea of what people who love the character want.



I know some authors are very much against fan fiction, but I think it's a great measure of the original work...great books/movies/television/games tend to attract better fan fiction writers, and stories that stand on their own merits, other than using characters from a popular medium. Which is also why we have such awesome fan artists over here!



Anyway, that's just my rambling thought for the morning. Back to our regularly scheduled drooling over Bunny Kaidan. =)

I hope you're right.  I know that Garrus is more popular overall, as both a buddy and LI, and Thane was created specifically to be a malien romance character...while the last thing I heard about Kaidan was Chris Priestly saying that nobody likes him during that Super Bowl party they broadcasted.    I wish Mass Effect devs would occasionally visit, the way David Gaider does for DA.  Even if they couldn't give any hints, just knowing that they're reading the forum would be a little more reassuring.

Damn this thread moves fast. As to speculation on ME3, Bioware's already pulling in a healthy mint with things so I really can't imagine them running out of funds short of someone booking with the bank and going crazy in Vegas. 2011's the same guess date bounced around on other forums too since they won't have to take as much time as they did with ME2 on revamping game mechanics or have to add new content from the ground up.



Now, as to how much the devs have been teasing on keeping faithful to one's first love interest having a good payoff, I'm hoping it's positively mind blowing considering it seemed like it was too easy to be able to cheat on them in 2.
