It's all in good fun.
I don't dislike any ME character, Kaiden included.

Hello everyone! This always confuses me, I mean I'm no expert but it seems farly obvious why women like him. Beyond being good-looking, he's confident in his masculinity, empathetic, caring, and rather quiet. I bet there are tons of women to whom that seems a winning combination.TeenZombie wrote...
It actually makes them mad that women like him. Which is why I used to get kind of witchy with trolls in this thread, it reeks of misogyny when some guy decides that HE is going to tell the women around him who to be attracted to. They don't even realize that's what they're doing, but being oblivious is par for the course with them.
Seriously.crimsonrhodelia wrote...

I did some quick math from the introduction thread on the KAAS last night. Here's the stats I found about the Kaidan fans:
In the KAAS, the average age is 26.5
The youngest member is 16.
The oldest is 59.
The most common age is 26.
Keep in mind that I'm a graphic design student and it's the first time that I touched my TI83 in years.
I was super nerd. I had a Voyager 2000 with 3d Graphing capability. BRING ON THE TRIPLE INTEGRALS! RAWR!crimsonrhodelia wrote...

Awesome stats, Fort! I'm 25, so I'm pretty average. I know one 16 year old who I believe is a member of the KAAS and she is certifiably brilliant, awesome and an excellent writer!
Re: TI-83: Heh. I used to play Tetris on mine! Not Deep Space Tetris, alas, just the regular rudimentary organic construct variety.

Holy hell, your calculator could do triple integrals? Would have saved me tons of trouble in my multivariable calc class last semester.
Honestly i think this idea that women only like certain things while men have wide and varying tastes is holding back gender relations. On the matter of bashers, once in a while someone gets their dunce hat on and comes in the Ash thread and bashes her. Hell, half the first page is bashing.TeenZombie wrote...
Yeah, but for some reason, certain guys just don't GET that women can have different criteria for what they find "cool" or interesting in a character. If you look at the first few pages of the original Kaidan Appreciation Thread, there were a few guys in there telling everyone how much he sucks, and when people were defending their opinion, they were getting in their faces. One guy was even comparing Kaidan to Tali.Even now, with this thread being as large as it is, guys will try to pull the "nobody likes Kaidan" line, like they did back on the old forum. It can get overbearing sometimes, that kind of stubborn blindness.
But I'm really glad we have this thread, it's great to know that the Kaidan fans aren't getting chased away by the haters.

triple integrals are, and I know I made it to calc in high school...

If I 'bash' a character, I do it in the privacy of a group where there are like-minded individuals. I certainly don't bring my dislike out to the forums. (though I do remember losing my temper with a Tali fan once)
