If anything I kept hoping she'd take him off my hands and field of vision.. I wouldn't mind hooking them back up in ME3

Don't care what Miranda and Jacob were or are going to end up doing, as long as I can have Kaidan If they interfere in any way, or their presence reduces Kaidan to yet another cameo in ME3, I will toss em out of the nearest airlock and the game out of my window

I didn't dislike Jacob. Also didn't particularly like him, at least my Shepard wouldn't have wanted to romance him, even if it was a playthrough without a ME1 LI. I liked him better while still on the Cerberus station in the tutorial than on the Normandy though.



I've wanted to ask this for a while: on Tali's loyalty mission, when you talk to Kal'Reegar (either before or after the trial), she tells him not to call her ma'am, and then he tells her something like "ok.... ma'am". Was I the only one who thought "How sweet, Tali has her own Kaidan now."?

someting about men in tuxes...almost as sexy as men in uniform...again tho', it'd be hard to imagine Kaidan in something that doesn't make him look delicious...(altho' that space cowboy thing comes close)

I just heard the conversation between Tali and Kal'Reegar during my last play through.  I thought it was very sweet.  I wonder if he will be incentive for her to return to the fleet.

Me too.  They make the best ME vids.  :happy:  As well as the comedy angle, I love the fact that they show Shep, Ash, and Kai as such a team.<3

Seconded. I actually didn't know there was any such dialogue until I learned of in the predecessor to this thread I think it was, upon which I located it and went aww, that's totally sweet. And yes, I totally get the protective big sister vibe.

There definitely seems to be some kind of odd split, yes. Jacob struck me as more heroic and less.. well.. sleezy.. in ME Galaxy; I was actually surprised by how I quickly felt compelled to avoid him completely in ME2, I expected I'd appreciate him more, at least as a fellow soldier and subordinate..

As a side-point, our lack of any tendency to go googly eyed at the sight of an overly-ripped man-torso seems somewhat reflective of our like of Kaidan for being an awesome but in many ways normal guy.  He does not have massive issues, but he does have character.  He is not built, but he is very fit.

Well yes, perhaps, if he takes good care of her. If not, Kate has an assault rifle.

Of course, there is the little detail that this strange entity known only as "maleShep" goes without but a glimpse in most of my playthroughs and could probably be considered something of an extranet rumor, so I'd be perfectly content with handing off Tali to a friendly Quarian marine whom I can probably best describe as full of win.
