do we know of any other female doctors on the citadel? she is still there - sent you the email....

...mebbe not then. 'cause if the knew shep and kaiden were together, then the woman would just have a death wish. if she didn't, then wouldn't she have said something like "oh, and remember your crewmate kaiden? i saw him the other evening...."

I dunno, she seemed pretty hung up on Garrus.  But if she's asking after him while dating Kaidan.... Bad things... very bad things.

good. point.

it did remind me of that odd moment in ME1 when you're giving your speech to the crew - upon getting command of the normandy - and kaiden is hanging out in the med bay with the doctor.

first time i saw that i was like, "what are they DOING down there? is he picking up medigel packets or is he hitting on cougar chakwas?"

but i guess ashley is standing by the galaxy map with wrex and garrus - which also makes no sense, since most of the time they're in the basement.

oh, there you go. a perfectly logical answer that i totally failed to think of.

i guess as femshep i never heard kaiden's talk to maleshep about his headaches (is there any way to get that dialog as a femshep??) so i keep forgetting about these supposed "headaches" (uses turian councilor airquotes).

kaiden always seemed to be in top form to me. (Ahem)

He's probably trying to help her get over her Joker obsession.

Hehe, right because Kaidan is incredible good at letting go of obsessions...
Not that I am complaining...

P.S.: Nice to see ya again, Daewan. Been a while!

Someone found a still of him rubbing his head while standing still on a mission. So, they do bother him.

Frankly, I thought he was just shaken up over Meghan's driving...

I suffer from terrible bouts of migraines, so I can  relate to Kaidan.
If only I had the power to snap people's necks for looking at me funny along with them... :wizard:

I do too. I had one last night into the early afternoon today, the kind where you throw up and want to die.

You know what I just realized? There have been a lot of us on here that have mentioned getting frequent migraines/headaches. We should all be the Kaidan/migraine club.

So FemShep has to be loyal to Kaiden in ME2 to have a chance in ME3, but Kaiden can date?

perhaps this has been mentioned before, but is this doctor he's going out for drinks with sound suspiciously like dr. michelle to anyone else? i liked her, ya know, but then i sort of felt like paying her clinic a surprise visit....

aside: i guess i read that since kaiden's friends had "talked him into" going out for drinks with the doctor "nothing serious, you know" i truly didn't take it too seriously. the guy mentions ilos night like it was the last great time of his life. not really getting the sense that he's been unfaithful in sex, kissing - heck, sounds like his friends were having trouble getting him to look at another woman.

but maybe i'm just being optimistic.

The thing is nothing happened between my Epic Shep and Kaiden on Ilos in ME1.

But he still says in ME2 that night meant a lot to him. Either he had a really realistic dream or it was a bug. Hence, the entire email and "I am seeing someone at Citadel- nothing serious" was a headscratcher. Thanks for the explanation though.

Well, after hearing about Redemption #4, it seems that Liara fans have their very own Horizon/citadel doctor thing going on.

The writers really hate us ME1 LI fans, don't they?

I really don't get this.

I think the idea of calling moving on to a new LI in ME2 "cheating" is kind of lame, since things are obviously rocky with the ME1 LI, but I don't mind that Kaidan went on a date while Shepard was dead...although I question his timing in mentioning this in that first email.  I really don't think he would have mentioned the subject the way he did if he was in a real relationship with the doctor, and I don't think he intended to continue it, from the way he wrote.  I would *really* not like to have some sort of confrontational scene with Kaidan and the doctor...but I wouldn't want to have a scene between Kaidan and a ME2 love interest either, which is why I won't ever get the Paramour achievement with one of my FemSheps.  If I had found someone from ME2 interesting I'd have to make a new, single Shepard.

Having known people who get real migraines, it pisses me off to no end when someone calls a bad headache a migraine.

If the pain makes you want to cry but you're afraid to cry because that will cause more pain, it's a migraine.

The elevator conversations in ME1 got like that.

"You don't stop using a gun just because it has a little kickback" etc.

I don't know how Kaidan didn't turn around and say, "try doing your work while your head feels like it's going to explode and you've thrown up a few times and you literally start thinking about dying being a viable treatment"

I am completely incapacitated when I have a migraine.  I cannot tolerate any noises or even dim light, and I get "lightning flashes" across my vision.  The only thing I can do is lay down and try to sleep until they pass.

Yeah, I don't call bad headaches migraines.  Ugh.

When my thyroid was dying, I actually had those.  I'd get them for days on end.  My faves were the ones preceeded by the pulsing rainbow ring that travelled from my inner vision to my peripheral.

Thank God, I don't get them anymore.  Fake hormones FTW!

Migraines run in my family so we know aaalll about "real" migraines.

The vision problems and nausea are what irk me the most, it's almost a relief when I get a regular headache which in my case usually feels like a dagger in the side of my head..

Wait when did this become a clinic? :D

Anyway my thoughts on this is, it just makes Kaidan more respectable to me in that sense, especially since his migraines have a definite artificial cause he must truly resent at times.

Morning all

I don't get migraines but my eldest was diagnosed as a sufferer at 5yrs old. I hated watching him rolling around on the floor screaming and clutching his head. Luckily he seems to be growing out of them now.
