as for sunlight...well barely...I'm not allowed in the light for very long...ya' know how it is, you try to be good and then well...it's just so easy to be swayed by the plethora of Kaidan yummies...or Ash/Liara yummies, depending on your particular tastes

My mind is a bit muddled because, well... I just bought the pc version of Dragon Age yesterday (previously owned only the 360 version), and last night was going through the available mods online...some of em' are quite umm well...of a visually impure nature...I'm an adult and it's not like I haven't seen that kind of stuff before but damn...

Are there mods like that for ME/ME2?

Eh I'm kidding really...I don't think that stuff would really fit in ME, I liked that the dirty bits were insinuated in the Kaidan love scene, but more was focused on passion/imagination...ie-you knew what they were doing, and it didn't have to be explicit...I hope and pray very, very much that they go back to the ME formula for ME3 love scenes...:innocent:

Yesss! I totally thought there might be some mutual interest there! They can be my second OTP for Mass Effect.  Or third, after Udina/Renegade Interrupt. It did kind of bother me though that the accents vary so much from Quarian to Quarian, I don't think they interact that little that the various crews have all developed ship-specific accents.

Yes,  he is full of win. I always had a big sister feel towards Tali, but yes the Quarain marine is full of win. 

I thought it was so cute how he  did the ma'am thing to Tali.

Exactly, if maleShep never existed, wouldn't you want Tali to have the best?  I know I'll never romance her, so she deserves a happy ending of her own, instead of being stuck in end-of-game limbo because I was a femShep.

As for Jacob, as much as I detest the romance they wrote for him, I do like his character as a friend.  I even was open to him possibly wooing me away from Kaidan before I played ME2...it was a very *slight* possibility, but you never know.  But as soon as my Shepard talked to him on the Normandy, that went out the window.  His oddly shaped body didn't help either.

Jacob and Miranda would be a good pairing, he actually seems to respect her (unlike the way he treats FemShep ), and they obviously have unresolved feelings, as seen at the end of Jacob's loyalty quest.  It would have been nice to have him be a small part of her quest too, but I think Bioware treads carefully when it comes to potential love interests for male characters.  Wouldn't want to infer that MaleShep isn't the ultimate ALPHA MALE, would we?

Me too.  They make the best ME vids.  :happy:  As well as the comedy angle, I love the fact that they show Shep, Ash, and Kai as such a team.<3

I love their use of the wetsuits for armour, it's brilliant, and they do the dramatic collapse after CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE so well.

As funny as it is they do it very well. I thought I'd die when they had the guy playing Kaidan do a biotic throw.

And Shep? Shep wouldn't act like that, Shep would kick him in the teeth. She's nobody's prize.

Mm, I love his eyebrows! Who knows, considering his hair style, which seems like it could be somewhat labour intensive, perhaps he's not adverse to a little manscaping? As long as he doesn't look like he's wearing a sweater when he takes his shirt off, I'm happy! Maybe he's just lucky and has fairly sparse body hair, his thigh isn't all woolly either.

Yeah, no fur coat.  That's too MUCH hair.  *shudders at the very thought*  But a little bit of chest hair would be... nice...  *almost all my FemSheps agree eagerly*

I think perhaps they saw the backlash against Kaidan on the old forums as a reason to do something completely different with the new human male love interest...and if that's what they were going for, they succeeded...he's different.

I would love it if the Mass Effect writers came into the forum and talked to fans the way that David Gaider and Mary Kirby and Sheryl Chee do, but I realize we're spoiled by their awesomeness in doing so.  I just would be very interested in some insight into how the ME writers came to decide that Jacob should be written the way he was.

I know. There's a stark lack of content after the mission is over. They're probably saving a resolution for either dlc or ME3. If Kaidan says something in ME3 like, "why didn't you respond to my email?" I will seriously punch a baby or something.
