Fort, that would just make the haters carry on about him whinging/whining more. After all the fact that Dr Chakwas mentions that he gets migraines and Ash asks him how his headaches are going means that he's an annoying whiner already.fortunesque wrote...
The elevator conversations in ME1 got like that.
"You don't stop using a gun just because it has a little kickback" etc.
I don't know how Kaidan didn't turn around and say, "try doing your work while your head feels like it's going to explode and you've thrown up a few times and you literally start thinking about dying being a viable treatment"

OK... can someone post Indecision for me or Kaidan hug. I just had to watch Alistair die about a 100 times for a fanfic.

And just in case that didn't do the trick

Can I see this fanfic when it's ready?

I suffer from terrible bouts of migraines, so I can relate to Kaidan.
If only I had the power to snap people's necks for looking at me funny along with them...
Oh I agree I might not know what a Migraine intells, so I just call them Headaches.
If the pain makes you want to cry but you're afraid to cry because that will cause more pain, it's a migraine.
When my thyroid was dying, I actually had those. I'd get them for days on end. My faves were the ones preceeded by the pulsing rainbow ring that travelled from my inner vision to my peripheral.
Thank God, I don't get them anymore. Fake hormones FTW!
I used to get awful migraines because of a structural problem with my jaw. When they said they could most likely get rid of the migraines but they would have to break my jaw in the process and I might wind up with some facial paralysis I didn't even think twice about having the surgery.

I can totally relate to Kaidan on the migraine front, I've gotten bad headaches since I was six due to hereditary and a concussion, but a few years ago I had a neck injury and now I get migraines all the time.

Yeah, I get headaches more often than migraines, but when I get migraines like last night....
!!!!!
What was I talking about?
Oyas, Kaidan's ass. Medium armor never looked so good before

These experiences make me appreciate Kaidan even more. Having to save the galaxy with that sort of stuff going on, I'd just let the reapers invade and thank the heavens that they could end the stupid pain.
Edit: Just because I haven't seen this one posted in awhile -

He landed up in my cabin before Ilos. I do not remember what I said. I suppose it was something polite but not now because I simply couldn't be rude to the guy.
The thing was, and pardon me for repeating this as I have mentioned this earlier in the thread- I was playing ME1 kind of half heartedly and the entire ex gf thing had me all "oh no, not this again" especially after JE and KOTOR, so I didn't really appreciate him that much in ME1. I was nice to him and all, but well...didn't think I was romancing him. Never got the half-kiss or anything so didn't get any foreshadowing or anything. It was only in ME2, that in retrospect, and especially given the ME2 choices that I said, bring back the nice dude and I can live with the ex.
Short story: My FemShep is still...um...unlaid. In ME2, she had Kaiden's pix on her desk so they better give me some action in ME3, or FemShep is going to get so frustrated she is going to hump collector leg.

Wow. Thank you!
Didn't mean to promote a DA:O fic in a ME2 thread... but I figure Kaidan will forgive me since I had to cry on his shoulder for seeing Alistair die so often today.

But I know what you mean. The ex thing threw me off a bit but I was cool with it after I thought about how awkward he is and that he might not realize the rule of "thou shalt not mention thy exes". I try to look it as, "well, it would have come up eventually".

hehehe...we haven't podded anyone in awhile and now we've jumped to podding inanimate objects.
This page is Kai Kai intense. I approve. Makes my head stop throbbing from the sheer ridiculousness of my job. There are times when I feel as if my life is taking on all the absurdity of a Douglas Adams novel...
But then I come here to pictures and fanfic of Kai Kai...and that makes me happy.

Your poor FemShep! I would recommend playing ME1 again, though, and doing the full romance, if you like Kaidan enough to wait for ME3. The "ex" was more like the girl in high school who never gave him a chance (well, in this case, because he killed someone for her, but it's still sad), and they never had a real relationship. I also see Kaidan as pretty socially awkward, so he gets a pass from me for bringing her up. Of course, a Kaidan fanatic is the one suggesting this, so maybe you could just YouTube the romance to see what you missed.
As far as your Shepard and the night before Ilos, you can just chalk that up to Shepard being so awesome that even putting a guy off for the hope of future sexy time is life changing and amazing.

Haha... no worries, I did that with some of my playthroughs as well. Up until I realized I had a save-limit.
I'm horrible though - I actually still jump up, dance around and squeal like I am 15 again. Talking about admitting something
