Night chem, I know you're right and we should try & cheer up for page 1000 but its bloody hard.
On the bright side, (with the exception of the last few pages), we've had nearly 1000 of pics, art, fics, & general gutterly mayhem to celebrate Kaidan, and this is 2nd time around.

Not really.

Kasumi directly talks about the relationship. Kelly doesn't do that; she says the same thing for every Shepard, regardless of a romance.

Maybe when it comes to Kasumi's comments - however Liara gets more then 3 minutes and crappy dialog option in ME2 - sooo... with all due respect, I don't think that is comparable.

I see. I apologize. I was under the impression that you could tell Joker/Kasumi that you still felt something for the Virmire Survivor. Guess not. I don't think it's an indication that the relationship won't continue for ME3, it's a given that it will. Just an oversight on Bioware's part, it seems. Or maybe they just felt Kasumi would not have a good reason to know? *shrug*

I know...and I'm glad we at least got mentions from them. Being the only ones left out by Kasumi though really hurts... I will just chalk it up to BioWare adding to our angst to make our ME3 payoff even better.

You can say 'It went well/bad' or 'We are still friends' ... that's it.

And when you say 'just an oversight on BioWare's part' ... that's exactly the problem here

But we are working friendly and respectfully on having our voice reach them...

As I mentioned in the Kasumi love interest thread, it makes no sense that Kasumi knows EVERYTHING going on on the Normandy, but doesn't at least know what Joker and Kelly know about the Virmire Survivor.  The only conclusion I can come to is that they were excluded purposefully.  Why?  Maybe the devs think that if they just stop mentioning them, we won't miss them any more.
