Tali's personality was what first got me. She's has a soft side but gets things done when they need to be.

Saw this question and had to answer it myself before I left:

To me I just loved the idea of the Quarians and over the first game started to really like how Tali was written/acted. But my Talidom was secured in the second game with her Loyalty mission. My god was that amazing. And if Bioware can do that in a second game I really want to see where her story is going to end up in the third and final Shepard game!

To me me its because she has a more beleivable personality than the others in ME. Miranda/Ash are a little to ****y for me. Liara I just never liked her in the first place. Ash is kinda racist and you have to change that by using paragon/renegade options. Miranda hides behind the excuse of "nothing personal" wich to me is ahorse sh*t excuse and makes me want to punch her. All of them you have to use paragon/reneegade options to change their way of thinking Talis is pretty well set in. Her attitude only changes twards Shep nothing els.

Kelly.... scale itch need I say more?

Honestly I dont like busty women. I mean really when that get that big thier just a nuisance. But I'm not gonna lie I may have some strange fettish for reverse jointed legs. I found the um... what were they called again... blue people in WoW... mmm cant remember but I thought they were quite attractive too.

Damn. Ok, well if I got the chance in real life...
I would probably take a bullet at most. Would help out with daily life and stuff....maybe help research how to better 'clean room technology'

Yes, she had the best loyalty mission in my opinion, and that's not just because I love Tali.  The parts were perfectly acted and the character connections were extremely deep.  The mission made it that much better to have a romance with Tali because of what you did for her during her loyalty mission.

I agree, her mission was the best.  Garrus' comes close, particularly the bit where it's partially seen through his scope, and Samara's was up there, too, but Tali's mission had the perfect blend of great acting, emotional attachment and perfect pacing.

Well since I don't have the time to read every single post in this forum I'm just gonna say that Tali is simply awesome. BTW with what Vuppish and Nezahoo wrote, I'm also on that boat but I'm nthot gonna change anything because I want to see what happens in the thrid one in regards to having both of them back into possibly the ME3 romance plot.
